andy1252
Pootling about in the Strzelecki Desert area (and why not?), I ran in to some stormy weather Noticed a bit of lightning in the distance so sneakily went into ultra slow mode in P3D to try and actually capture some shots - calmed down for a bit and I moved on but there was some more good stuff to come and then . . . . the biggest crash and what looked like a massive burst of sheet lightning. Really scary stuff - and here it is from the cockpit - Scared me so much I had to put down somewhere asap and down a few tinnies <grin> I checked on Google Earth, and I was at least a couple of hundred miles from Lightning Ridge - thought maybe I'd got lost! This was ASN live weather so I'm glad I was only there in pixel mode - would have been a bit wild for real.

VH-KDK
Top set and great narrative Andy. The good thing is about consuming your tinnies in the desert is that there are no trees for the drop bears to be hiding in.

andy1252
Thanks folks. Now I've realised how to capture lightning in a bottle I'll be hoping to grab more of it 9 hours ago, VH-KDK said: The good thing is about consuming your tinnies in the desert is that there are no trees for the drop bears to be hiding in. Blimey Martyn! Is that photoshopped or do those critters really have teeth like that? And I always thought they look so cute.
