VH-KDK
Another flight in the lightning. This time from Wellington International up the coast to Wanganui. Some real nasty weather on the way, just hope I have a quicker finger this time! 1. A very mixed bag of ANZ aircraft on the apron at Wellington. 2. Not long before the Shrike vanishes into the low clouds. 3. Over South Headland Reserve. 4. Plenty going on over Wellington Harbour. 5. Approaching Waikawa Beach and the light show begins. 6. Kuku beach and I think I must be cuckoo to be flying in this weather. 7. Near to Hokio Beach and no let up. 8. Close to Palmerston North and the stormy weather continues. 9. Nearly at Wanganui and it will be nice to get on the ground after such a rough flight. 10. To keep in the stormy weather theme, Thunder Thighs is here to greet us! Hope you enjoyed the flight.
