A flight in the lightning!

VH-KDK

Recommended Posts

Took off from Porta Westfalica and headed south into a large thunderstorm.

Just too bad that my timing was out with the v key and I did not catch any of the lightning.

Only one shot here mostly to test out FSFiles, good to see things are returning to normal.

Oh, I hope none of you were expecting to see a P-38 or English Electric Lightning.B)

this neck of the woods, just sunshine would be nice.B)

Gumby

Watched Landline on Sunday Gumby and saw how bad some of the flooding has been down there. Very sad to hear of the fatalities and the losses caused by disaster. Drought then flood, you just can't win. Now there is the possibility of another east coast low forming later this week so just hoping this one will not repeat the problems the last one brought.

Great capture! Maybe a question of mood, I only can see a nice dawn or dusk! LoL

But you shoted it and I must believe on your eyes, for sure! :P

Voyager

Thanks Voyager. It is dawn, I very rarely fly at dusk as night flying does not appeal to me too much.

Wonderful shot Taph.

I don't mind missing the lightning just as long as it misses me!
