Rhubarb roll

Recommended Posts

After seeing Mickel's crumble post, I was reminded of a flight I did a few months ago at KEGE.

Rhubarb missions were carried out by the Allies in WW2. Fighters would set out to find and destroy ground targets at will  when low cloud was present. Anything that moved was fair game, most of us would have seen the gun camera footage of railway locomotives, troop trucks and even a horse and cart  being strafed by  the fighters of the RAF.
