BrianV
Wow, I hadn't seen this one coming already with previews. Looks outstanding and happy as I am with my LC for Europe this looks like a gigantic step up towards the real thing! I would love to see an expected map of the coverage area when possible. Ausgezeichnet! Smashing teaser shots.

alex330
Churches! Wow, this looks fantastic and even more like Germany than the very good openLC EU representation. Do I notice correctly that you're using some vector based approach to landclass placement?

Best regardsSebastian John, you got me with these shots. I am the next local that has to drop enthusiastic comments regarding Hanover. Would it be too much to mention the Stadionbad next to the AWD Arena, which is an architectural icon? An, born in Bremen, I love the Osterdeich shot with the Weserstadion nearby. fabs79
Although I'm from the deep south of Germany (Freiburg) I almost freaked out when I saw these shots. Finally we get the historic city centres that are so typical of most german cities. The one thing that was annoying about (the otherwise great) openLc EU was that you had detached, single family homes right in the centre of large cities which looked completely unrealistic. I was hesitant about getting Germany north because being from the south I rarely fly there but those shots changed my mind in a heartbeat. sun_king_135
Whoohooo! Finally, my dream of replacing the VFR Germany series is becoming realistic! And, as expected, it is going to - no it will - be much, much better than the other one. EU LC was already a perfect one, depicting some places I know much better. But this will be AWESOME. Since I'm more from the south, FRA possibly too and it'd be complete together could you please possibly say how far the second - southern - part is, compared to this one or how far apart both releases may be? Just asking for a general time frame. Kind regards. Stefan

bernd1151
That's terrific news and will be a definite buy, once it's out. Just asking for a general time frame. GES will most likely be done faster than GEN because we did quite a bit of the core work needed for Germany with the first part. But since we exceeded the initially set timeframe for GEN by a long time I better won't give any estimates... Bests, Sascha
Axel
Hi Sascha, I see that you are a Limesim developer, now Hamburg HD comes to my mind which was hold many months ago. Am I right that this project will be included in GEN? Hamburg as the second largest town in Germany deserves a good treatment finally What town is shown on the sixth picture from top? The picture with the big church. Will you place the block buildings close to power stations? Looks so far very detailed but strange if the stacks stand in the middle of a meadow all alone... (Wedel as an example) Best, Axel
COBS
Utterly fantastic , have waited so long for this German scenery . Although I mainly fly in the southern half of Germany I will most definitely be getting this , both GEN and GES . Is the Mohne Dam in GEN ? I know that a lot of people want that iconic dam wall in their scenery . If it is , would a shot be possible ? Cheers Karol

DeeJay
Fantastic news!! I always enjoyed the stunning regions that I did NOT know in real life such as New Zealand, Alaska,... But now ORBX is finally coming home to me ...well almost - I've got to wait for GES. BTW, once you're developing GES, would it be possible to add an option for a "light" environment around Frankfurt or even disabling the FRA area in the GES region? Why I'm writing this? - It's just because EDDF is already hard on fps and on VAS usage. Even if Aerosoft did a better job here (performance wise) than at EGLL, I see the approaches into EDDF being full of OOM's or fps drops with FTX GES. You could now say: "Either you fly IFR so don't need FTX GES or you fly your GA low-and-slow and don't need EDDF". But I think you can do both as there are a lot of interesting airfields to discover and at the same time there is finally a good EDDF scenery. Would be nice if it's not neccecary to deactivate one of the 2 sceneries each time you switch between airliners and GA. Just my suggestion.
