thomas747400
Hi, I have recently upgraded from FSX to Prepar3d v2... wow, what an improvement! I installed Aerosoft Mega Airport Amsterdam with the Estonia Migration tool. I noticed that some of the taxiways and roads are under water. I have installed the latest versions of ORBX library, FTX Global and FTX Vector. I was wondering if this issue is related to FTX Vector or a compatibility problem with Prepar3D? Penzoil3
Did you run the Vector Configuration Tool for elevation, after installing the airport ? (FTX Central- Settings-Tools)
Jack the Swede in Spain
Please don´t missunderstand me, but using EMT means the airport is NOT developed for the sim you try to install it to. For me, that is begging for trouble. Sorry. Jack the Swede in Spain Edited May 29, 2016 by JJJackson
Richard Lincoln
Hello Thomas, As stated above, please run the Vector config tool, hit Apply and let me know how you went please.
thomas747400
Hi all, Thanks for your replies! I did run the Vector config tool but it did not fix the problem. EHAM is not listed under AEC airport list so if I understand this correctly the config tool has no effects on such airports... I still fly into this airport without too much hassle, I generally just avoid the runways worst affected. If there are any other tricks of the trade which may fix the issue please let me know :-) Thomas
KenVerburg
Did you try moving Amsterdam to the top of your scenery library? And try setting water effects to one step below Ultra if it's currently set to Ultra.
Penzoil3
Ken, you really want to change that order number. You have your registration code there, NOT your order number ! Edited June 6, 2016 by Penzoil3
sim123
I have same issue as long I work with p3d , and waiting for new fly tampa amsterdam to solve this problem because Original amsterdam airport elevation is below sealevel , there must be some default files excluded, to turn water again into land. but haven't find a solution somewhere which files course this issue until today. hope flytampa will bring us a workable airport soon.
