answered Cannot update Oregon HD or Washington HD
Yamin Noor posted a topic in Orbx Central Support Forum
Hi, I cannot seem to be able to update my "US Oregon HD" and "US Washington HD" because it complains about not compatible with the SD versions which is weird because I didn't install the SD versions for any of the regions. I've attached screenshots of the Orbx Central and the disk consumption for respective folders below. Please check. Thanks Yamin Operating system: Windows 10 Simulator: X-Plane 11 Screenshot: Issue: -
Operating system: Win10 64 bit Simulator: X-plane 11.40 ORBX Central Log file: attached Screenshot: Attached below Issue: ORBX Central indicates an update to Washington HD. However it says I have to uninstall SD first. But I haven't go SD installed. See both screenshots attached. It's a Catch 22 and I'm unsure how to fix it. Can I have some advice please? BTW this also happened with the previous Central version - I waited for the latest update to see if that fixed it. The scenery and Xplane both work flawlessly. I have only the one Xplane installation. My scenery runs from a large storage drive linked symbolically to my Custom Scenery folder. I've searched on these fora but am unable to pinpoint a solution. Thank you. central.log

Does a purchase of TrueEarth Washington HD include the SD version? I assume it does, but the shop page does not explicitly states that.

I own TrueEarth Washington HD, which seems to also give me access to the SD version. How do I switch between the two? I'd like to try the SD version in VR and see if I get any performance differences. I've tried uninstalling the HD version, but then the SD version tells me I have no downloads available. Any ideas?

As a boeing Nutjob missing 1 very important feature with XP11 at Paine field. The famous blue boeing doors seems to be missing from the 1.0.0 scenery. Attached a picture form an old review of FTX and my 2 screenshots on my laptop that shows paine field without the nice blue doors. Like also the "real" thing: https://www.google.nl/maps/@47.9222088,-122.2746149,3a,75y,21.3h,96.27t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sfU1mTGJBCBOjhqKNDjY1_w!2e0!7i16384!8i8192 Is that a current bug in the scenery? Most of the other features of that field are there.

Hello everyone, Here's a quick sneak preview of TrueEarth US Washington for X-Plane I've put together. It really shows the incredible diversity of this amazing new region. Bush flying is finally on the agenda for XP11 users! A full announcement is coming next week with all the info you need. Enjoy!

I don't see any glaciers on the mountains in TE Washington. Mt. Rainier just doesn't look right all brown. Am I missing a setting or something?

Over San Juan Island (took off from Friday Harbour) Loving the textures, the colors, everything Deep blues, deep greens Such a beautiful work Look at the river textures! Oh that mountains! And here is where the beauty of TE Washington ends, and the standard scenery begins (harsh reality x sweet dreams?). Let's make a u-turn and keep flying over this amazing region!!

Hello Orbx, Attached is a screenshot of an error I am receiving after installation of your product. I have installed, verified, uninstalled, re installed, and re verified True Earth Washington in that order. Each time I end up with that same error. I have temporarily removed all x-plane default airports as well as third party sceneries from the area. In the past, I have successfully installed TE GB South and Central without issue. Hope we can figure this out and I'm excited to get it working! Transaction ID: 5c8568402b417

Just installed Washington TE and it looks superb, the only Problem I have with it is that the Seattle city Area is default Scenery. I have had DD Seattle City installed, which I however uninstalled prior to this and I do Still have DD Seattle Airports installed but have removed the Seattle ARoads Mesh, like instructed in the User Manual. However, I still see the default Seattle City Scenery. It could totally be a mistake on my part but currently I'm not sure what else I can try. I'd appreciate any help I could get with this. Just wondering if there are any plans to release Bremerton National (KPWT), Bremerton, Washington sometime in the not to distant future? Since Seattle (KSEA) is such a bother on frame rates (for some pilots), it would be neat to have an Orbx scenery rendition for KPWT. The location of KPWT provides a good connect between B.C. and points south. For those of you who enjoy flying the PNW and Pacific-Fjords--what do you think?
