  1. First flight with the JF Tomahawk. Really loving it! Cheers!
  2. Like the title says I've just installed Honolulu for P3D4, and also LYBE. Both are very fine products, but I realise lately that I just don't get the same buzz moving around in P3D. I actually tend to enjoy exploring at ground level more than flying in a lot of places, because that way I get to see all the good stuff Orbx does up close, and don't get distracted by what I now see as the failings of P3D. I'll keep with it for a while yet, and who knows what a v5 might bring if it ever happens. But for right now, for me, the vibe in XP is pretty hard to beat. And no, I'm not trying to start a "mine's better than yours" thing here - I'm not interested in persuading anybody to do anything. Getting up and about in XP, and particularly in the True Earth environment (although I have some wonderful other ortho based stuff as well which is almost as good), it really feels like I'm there. I found myself looking at little valleys and collections of houses down below me on the flight out of Seattle that this shot comes from and actually thinking things like "that looks like a nice place to live" or "I'd love to take a drive around there". It really does feel that real (maybe I should just get out more <grin>). Huge thanks to all at Orbx for making this happen - it really is transformational.
  3. I was out exploring TE WA, and spotted this below me. A quick check on GE told me it's the Seattle Pacific Raceways and Pacific Railways Drag Strip. Neat! I'll have to see if I can figure out how to get the AC Cobra placed here and have a go!
  4. Thanks very much for viewing Cheers R TE Washington XPlane 11.35 r1 XVision 1.26 Reshade 4.3.0 - Custom LUT Straight from the "V" key ... For me what is spectacular in this one is how good the Dale Chihuly "Garden & Glass" in the Seattle Center (just to the right of the base of the tower) is done. My wife loves this place - my pocketbook …..
  5. I find this a bit of a pig to drive, many "save flight"s required, but as long as the roads are pretty straight (so Freeways are ok) it can be fun! Looking forward to the day I can drive from Seattle to San Diego in True Earth!
  6. So many years back in the early start of FSX, Friday Harbor was my starting point for my first virtual flights. Via the supurb TE Washington it is marvelous how the quality and the 'as real look' has evolved. Therefor I revisited the area now via XP11, what a gorgeous detail:
  7. Almost forgot how much fun the Pitts was! Fantastic smooth frame rates were icing on the cake. Thanks for viewing. Cheers
