resolved No more Lake Mead near Las Vegas...
peja1591 posted a topic in PREPAR3D® V5.x Support Forum
Hello, I am running P3Dv 5.1 hotfix one and everything was fine until today when I was approaching LV and I noticed no more Lake Mead showing up! I tried everything, sync sim, verify files, moved stuff around in the scenery index, nothing. I am wondering if this has anything to do with Black Marble? I need to insert my Orbx stuff below my last add on scenery or it doesn't show up correctly, especially Flytampa Las Vegas. Any ideas on how to bring back the lake please? This is is bizarre, I haven't changed anything in my sim.. -
I get an install error msg: not enough disk space. I have 240GB free on my C drive. How much free space is needed to do the install? Holey cow!!! Thank you...

Hello, my sim friends. To begin, I have a relatively new Macbook Pro with Catalina OS. With that said, I was VERY excited to purchase and download the Orbx SoCal HD. However, when running X-Plane 11 after selecting the SoCal airport of my choice to begin, it crashes midway through the loading process. Next thing that appears is my computer desktop and asking if I want to relaunch X-Plane. This has been extremely frustrating as I've tried everything, including moving all of my custom scenery files to a backup folder and starting from scratch. Still, the same thing. I could really use some help. Thanks, everyone. -Paul

Hello, Just taking off from KMYF in the new Orbx Southern California scenery and noticed a significant step change on the runway as I went along. How can this be fixed?

Launched from NAS Miramar in Dino Cattaneo's freeware Tomcat, for to try to make TacPack work. No joy in the P-38 despite two days effort . SWOLF-SEVEN departure using the MOUSE transition--in other words, 2000 foot hard altitude, 255º out to the coast, essentially to keep the noise down for the rich folks in La Jolla. Then out the W-291 for some yankin' and bankin'. San Clemente Island, home of the folks whose job description is, "Kill people, blow shit up" was right where it was supposed to be in the haze, but there was KC-135 tanker out there somewhere and we never did find it. We did, however, see the Nimitz under us and couldn't resist a coffeecup-jerking Mach 1.3 flyby right at PRIFLY eye level. That 2000 foot hard altitude is mandatory, and allowed me, in my 1929 biplane to stooge around down by Torry Pines at 1500' and wait for targets of opportunity coming out at 250 knots. Rolled in behind an F/A-18 and was close enough at just over 2000' away to see him wave. Or maybe he gave me the finger. Not sure which.
