We are delighted to announce Matteo Veneziani's picturesque Olbia Costa Smeralda for Microsoft Flight Simulator! One of our most popular European destinations has received a complete overhaul for the new simulator, with Matteo investing months of work on this project since completing Hollywood Burbank. Located on the idyllic Mediterranean island of Sardinia, Olbia encompasses both the the airport in complete detail, as well as the surrounding city and coastal approaches. As a popular Italian holiday destination, the airport sees a mix of airline, corporate and GA traffic, as well as being a home base for the aerial firefighting (waterbomber) fleet. Using the latest MSFS SDK updates, this airport is one of our very first to integrate completely customized animated jetways, as well as a custom ground poly (projected mesh). All textures have been redone, with full PBR and higher resolution artwork utilized throughout. Dozens of landmarks lie waiting to be explored, including several new easter eggs not previously included in the original P3D release. All-new GSE and static aircraft types have been added to the existing fleet for the MSFS version, as well as crisp custom aerial imagery for the airport environment. Careful attention has been given to the apron markings, sloping runway and detailed vegetation placement, as well as improved coastline and rockwork along the harbour. Utilizing innovative night lighting techniques, custom wig-wag and dynamic taxiway lighting complement the comprehensive mix of apron, terminal and runway effects. A complete airport & city package, Olbia Costa Smeralda is at an advanced stage of development, with more information and screenshots to be rolled out during the coming week. Enjoy!

Benvenuti in Toscana - Welcome to Tuscany! What better way to explore one of Italy's most revered regions than at it's heart in Florence, capital and most populous city. Picked out with Microsoft Flight Simulator in mind, Florence's Airport is just minutes from the city centre, perfect for low-and-slow VFR scenic flights or convinient tourist travel from abroad to and from one of the Renaissance's great hubs. An Italian hub for Vueling and offering flights across Europe both seasonally and year-round, Florence is the perfect product for Microsoft Flight Simulator - offering a variety of airline and general aviation traffic, plus a challenging approach and proximity to a beautifully recreated cityscape in MSFS and Gaya Simulations' trademark industry leading quality, there's nothing better! Highlights - A details-focused rendition of Florence Airport (LIRQ). - Fully optimised for ultra-smooth performance. - Includes custom animations. - Many custom-made POIs in and around the airport. - Proximity to the historic Renaissance centre of Florence. - High-quality 3D assets dotted around the city for an ultra-realistic experience. - Incredible yet challenging approach bordered by the nearby Monte Morello. - Central location in Italy, in the heart of Tuscany.

Encountered an "oversimplified" vector coastline in the Venetian Lagoon, just southwest of LIPZ along the approach to runway 04R. I haven't been able to find that this has already been reported. The coastline doesn't appear entirely wrong when compared to google maps imagery, but it appears rather that several islands and other wetland areas are missing - or maybe the whole thing just flooded. It also appears that the stream coming from the west that ends abruptly to the northwest of the crosshair may also be truncated. The area in Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/6qCv9cEYrFE2
