  1. No beach trip this year, but can still take a flight and get in some ocean air. Leisurely flight from DAFB (KDOV) to Tetterboro (KTEB) in the classic DC-3. Nice summer day over Delaware Bay, but hot and humid days usually bring thunderstorms... Passing between the twin capes of: Cape May, New Jersey Cape Henlopen, Delaware Wildwoods and Stone Harbor Better get off the beach! Atlantic City Approaching New York Over Brooklyn Have to stop there since KTEB is not part of Orbx world. Not a bad landing, though. Keep that tail up!! Thanks for looking.
  2. A small test flight from San Francisco with the version 3 of Manfred Jahn's famous DC3 transposed for Xplane by Aeroworks. 2 jewels in a way!
  3. Hi guys this might be a silly thought but I like the modern cockpit but also like the Dc 3 , /c47 that was shown on one of the pics post thread any way I repainted the stock dc 3 from fsx, but tried to import the modern cockpit but couldn't is there a plane thats in between the cessna grand caravan and the DC3? with a modern cockpit?? thanks milo
  4. Hi, here is one about the past, while the DC3 theme is still fresh... Cheers!
  5. I re-installed all of my MAAM-SIM aircraft a couple days ago as IMHO their version of the DC-3, even though it's a FS9 port over that's many years old, is still the best that's available. Many of the existing paint jobs, literally hundreds on Avsim and elsewhere, can be used in FSX as long as you overwrite the windshield and propeller files with the ones from the FSX transparency fix file. And those paint jobs still look pretty good in FSX today... Cheers Jocko
  6. Just one pic of a flight from Glen Innes to Coffs Harbour in a DC3. I did some image editing and tried to create an HDR image. The HDRI contains five pics of different exposure steps. That's the result: What do you think?
  7. Orcas airport KORS was my favourite. Now turned back to this gorgeous place, this time to airborn in a vintage DC3. Just ordered PFJ as extension to PNW in order to be able to install the splendid new Stewart Airport and explore 2cm/px. See these as reborn of my postings into this great forum and more will follow, don't be to hard for the possible low quality of current shots compared to the latest postings of so many former and new forum members. By these (re)hello.
  8. Jeez, What sort of Journalist can't tell the difference between VH-TMQ and VH-OVM ? http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/breaking-news/vintage-plane-makes-an-unscheduled-landing-with-one-engine-at-avalon/story-e6frf7jx-1226194511491
