  1. Another screenshot from MSFS 2020 and this time the Cessna Caravan over the Orbx Gotheburg (Goteborg) Landvetter airport. Really loving the real-World live weather effects, and again the settings were on Ultra. Great to think that this is only the early days for MSFS 2020 and it will get better and better with time. And so far (touchwood), I have not had to do anything to .cfg files Jerry
  2. Trying out the new freeware that popped up on the Orbx website today, the Vessels Channel Islands. Great to have more variety (and realistic) shipping and boating. One screenshot from this evening, using real-World weather and the C172 over Jersey MSFS2020 settings on ultra. Jerry
  3. Hello everyone, a few vintage photos of 1960s (Goilala).

  7. Y'know, sometimes you climb in the cockpit and head out to where ever and a little voice says 'Nice here'. It just happened to me, I started off from a random airport for a quick evening flight and everything just seemed right; the lighting; scenery; aircraft, perfect. I didn't want to land so just flew around for a while enjoying it.
  8. hi guys just did a first ever live video stream ,via twitch.tv !! flying my Cessna 172 trainer from A2A <object bgcolor='#000000' data='http://www.twitch.tv/widgets/archive_embed_player.swf' height='378' id='clip_embed_player_flash' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' width='620'><param name='movie' value='http://www.twitch.tv/widgets/archive_embed_player.swf'><param name='allowScriptAccess' value='always'><param name='allowNetworking' value='all'><param name='allowFullScreen' value='true'><param name='flashvars' value='title=Flight%2Bplan%2B-%2BYSNW%2B-%2BYWOL%2B-%2BNowra%2BMilitary%2BAirport%2B-%2BIllawarra%2BRegional%2BAirport%2BWollongong%2BNSW%2BAustralia%2B&channel=miloguy&auto_play=false&start_volume=25&archive_id=528959531'></object><br><a href="http://www.twitch.tv/miloguy" class="trk" style="padding:2px 0px 4px; display:block; width: 320px; font-weight:normal; font-size:10px; text-decoration:underline; text-align:center;">Watch live video from MiloGuy on TwitchTV</a>

  10. Just read about this over the weekend, so sad.. http://www.smh.com.au/queensland/five-people-killed-in-light-plane-crash-in-queensland-20140322-358pm.html
  11. G'day guys.. First off I want to thank every one for the great responses to my epic flight to Perth from the Gong " Wollongong" . So I thought I'd share the return trip with you guys.. enjoy the flight and my story! I have the paid Jandakot airport and the Wollongong airports, and a few of orbx's free airports loaded as well.. more airports to get and buy at a later date... ______________________________________________________________________ Well after some 2000 miles and many package deliveries we have to turn around and do it all again! So after deciding to spend the night or 2 and then heading off for the return trip.. _____________________________________________________________________________ Part 1 Jandakot Perth to Forrest (WA) Our flight plan , first stop Forrest The beautiful and very busy Jandakot airport Perth (orbx) And such a great looking day to fly ! The hours so far in this plane Waiting for traffic to clear on the tarmac You can see lots of people here at the terminal waiting for their flights! Finally after an hour's delay due to heavy traffic we are in the air ! on the way to the first stop Forrest !! Another great take off for what looks like a perfect days flying ! what a fabulous day ! good bye Perth! I think I spoke too soon and I knew things started off too good!! Some 90 miles out of Perth We get lots of lights flashing on the cockpit emergency lighting display I suddenly realize that we are loosing fuel at a rapid rate! our fuel gauges are the last 2 round ones on the right So after looking on my charts and my gps , we had to find the nearest airport, or grass strip.. or field if possible, So I radio'd ahead to Southern Cross, while a little out of our way was the best place for us, told them the problem. While its only a grass strip to land on the locals there said they would help out with my emergence problem.. providing we make it !! changing course to Southern Cross WA, Getting closer to Southern Cross Western Australia Landing at Southern Cross, now to find out why were loosing fuel! Checking the load at Southern Cross while the plane is being fixed up
  12. Hi Guys Looking to spice up my office / computer room, and looking for some flight stuff. I have a few die cast cars ie with the hoods and doors that open up, is there anything on the market like that but for planes? ie the caravan and maybe even the 172 ... any ideas ? milo
  13. Just getting some practice in landing with my Cessna Grand Caravan 208b, passenger version.. flying from Wollongong NSW to Bankstown Airport... >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yyz0dE0OyE8&feature=share&list=UUK_dyzyynka0S1ICypCCbxA
  14. Hello, This is my test flight on London with FTX EU England and the default Cessna 172. Here with almost all set to max and Fraps recording I get some stuttering but I can keep 30 fps average. What I don't understand is why I still get occasional stuttering even with all the sliders set to minimum and 60 fps (now shown here). >http://youtu.be/Q1I17naNvik My rig is a i7-3770K oc 4.8 GHZ, NVidia GTX 680 oc 1.3 GHZ. Enjoy and let me know what you think.
  15. Much better weather than yesterday, managed to fly across Scotland from Dundee to Colonsay airstrip. Bit overcast and a shower or two on the way, but a very pleasant flight and incredible scenery. Never quite realised, the UK has its own little PNW! Cannot wait for some Scottish strips to be rolled out! The die-hard mechanic is still there. Through the Looking Glass (or the grubby windscreen..) Here comes the rain Starting final approach into Colonsay Beautiful area of the country!
  16. After a recent purchase of Scotland and a quick flight into Dundee, I was looking forward to going to have a look at the Highlands. Unfortunately, as I climbed, the heavens opened and I made the decision to save fuel and time and unnecessary risks by aborting the flight. Very low visibility Fairly gusty too. Really coming down now. Short finals into Dundee Down safely Love what Orbx have done with Dundee! No love, we can't shelter from the rain in here forever!
  17. A quick trip from Shoreham to Goodwood in the Centurion. Warming up for the (hopeful) release of the A2A C172. Also off to Florida at the end of November for four weeks to do my PPL in a 172! Until then, the T210 will suffice. Unfortunately, my B17 log has become corrupt and me being the fool I am, didn't backup the file. So while that's having some maintenance in Dubai, I'll be bombing round the UK in something small and relatively fun! On to the shots.. Pre-flight checks. The line. ATC sending me on a bizarre route to the holding point.. not gonna listen to them again. Back on the tarmac! Lets rock and roll! Beaches are pleasantly devoid of any life. Unbelievably slippery aircraft. Coming down. Short finals. Parked up.
  18. G'day every one, I haven't been real well for the past few weeks ,and had a stint in hospital at one stage, so its taken me longer to complete this trip So I flew around Australia in a Cessna Grand Caravan !! I love flying this bird ... and as there are so many pics , here is my flight sim pics website http://www.milosfsxflights.miloaviation.com/wp/?page_id=14 we flew over 7000 miles , it was an epic flight
  19. can any one tell me the fuel range and what height i should fly this ? i keep getting mixed up reports about this plane thanks
  20. Just acquired Photoshop, been playing around with a few screenshots taken from a flight between Yeovilton and Compton Abbas in the Carenado Cessna CT210M. Was quite pleased with the results of a bit of tweaking so thought I'd post. Just departing Eastward with Yeovilton in the background. Some of the beautiful Somerset countryside. Entering Downwind leg - definitely need some elbow grease on that windscreen! Looks like some kind of evil insect whilst the gear is moving.. Short Finals, always have to remember Compton's elevation! Landing Roll - one of the most pleasant (and indeed one of the only) GA airfields I've encountered in real life! That cleaner always seems to be there. Must make the airfield bankrupt with his overtime! All parked up, gorgeous flight! Thanks to all that take the time out to have a look, and thank you to Orbx, totally transformed my FS experience!!
  21. via the RNAV Approach for runway 10.
