  1. Good day, I posted this originally in the P3D4 Support Forum, but have not had a response from that source. Is there perhaps a possibility that Orbx will produce shoreline vectors for Global LC Africa and South Africa in particular? I recently viewed a video of Orbx shoreline waves released as an extra for North American Pacific Northwest Ferries package and the effect was stunning! If further shoreline vectors are not being planned for the foreseeable future, is there perhaps a learning resource to explain how to achieve these results in P3Dv4? Best wishes for 2022.

  3. I have been attempting to make some changes to Kotoka International airport, Accra, Ghana in P3Dv4.5, using ADE version 1.78. I have Global openLC Africa, as well as Global openLC Africa Mesh and Photoreal installed. The stock airport appears to load correctly, with airport runways, taxiways, aprons, etc., all at the same altitude and appearing level in the simulator. However, as soon as my required changes are compiled in ADE, all the airport aprons, taxiways and runways appear elevated in the simulator, it seems about 37 feet above the surrounding scenery. I attach a photo to illustrate what happens. I have tried a flattening polygon at the airport altitude (205 ft), without success. It is beyond my ken to understand what causes this and, particularly, how to fix it and I would be very grateful for your help.
  4. Hi Nick, Thank you for your response and the accompanying screenshot. I have now found and fixed the problem in my scenery setup. The developer of Cape Town airport addon scenery which I use, had for some reason found it necessary to make changes to the road network and these resulted in conflicts. Having switched off these files, Orbx now displays the roads as per your screenshot above. Regards, Quentin
  5. Hi Nick, I have the following Orbx products in my library: Base Pack, Buildings HD, TerraFlora v2, Trees HD, Vector, openLC Africa, openLC Africa Mesh and Photoreal, openLC Europe, Airport Pack, FlyTampa Libraries, Orbx Libraries. These are all shown with green ticks in a circle in my Orbx Products in Orbx Central. Regards, Quentin
  6. South Africa's main national highway, which starts in Cape Town and ends at Beit Bridge on the border with Zimbabwe, is displayed as a gravel road in the Global openLC Africa scenery, as one approaches Cape Town International airport from the North to land on runway 19. It is, of course, a tarred highway. I have tried re-installing the scenery and verifying files, to no avail. Attached is a screen shot, which shows the situation. Other nearby roads all correctly display as tarred. Is there a possibility this could be corrected?
  7. Good day, I have to say that I am sorely disappointed in the way Orbx Central has delivered Global Open LC Africa to my computer. The South African scenery is seriously blurred and I am unable to correct it. All my Orbx scenery which was installed with FTX Central has been installed perfectly and I don't understand why FTX Central was discontinued. Be that as it may, it would be very nice if I were able to enjoy all the hard work that went into producing Global Open LC Africa and I hope the serious blurring problem can be resolved, otherwise I shall have to ask for a refund.
