Hi all, an update for KBOI Boise is now available on Orbx Central. We have tried to address the changes brought about WU:X and the introduction of photogrammetry. We recommend that if flying into KBOI that photogrammetry is disabled as it is incomplete and not implemented very well in our opinion with missing buildings near airport boundaries and a very ugly seam in terrain imagery. This update has adjusted some of the exclusions of the TIN imagery to fit as best as possible with our orthoimagery as well as force buildings to display where there were none in the TIN coverage area to the north of the airport.

Designed by R.S.Johnson in 1940, the Swift’s birth is not without its complexities. With the intervention of WW2, the design did not actually reach certification until May, 1946 when it had been the subject of several design modifications carried out by K.H. “Bud” Knox. In the late 40’s Globe was to become insolvent and Temco acquired the type certificate and went on to build further aircraft. Hi all, The update for Alaska Mesh is now available on Orbx Central. This address the compatibility issues introduced with Sim Update 9. Whilst testing has shown all major issues have been resolved, if there are any conflicts with 3rd party please submit a ticket and we will investigate. We are finalising the update to the Himalaya Mesh and plan on releasing by the 23rd July. We will request the MS Marketplace updates be expediated.

The island of Tenerife has two airports: the Tenerife North Airport (or Los Rodeos) and Tenerife South Airport (also known as Tenerife South-Reina Sofia Airport in honour of the former Queen of Spain). The south airport is situated in a tourist area, and therefore is the busiest, having hundreds of connections to different parts of the world. Tenerife North Airport operates mostly domestic flights between the islands of the archipelago. In this package, we recreated these two airports, GCTS and GCXO, and added a few POIs with custom satellite images and mesh. The airports are known for their difficult weather conditions making every approach challenging. In the north, you’ll frequently meet low clouds, fog, and rain. Rochester Airport is a quaint and vibrant airfield that sits on a rise above the River Medway, just outside the historic towns of Rochester and Chatham, North Kent. Rochester Airport has an incredibly rich history dating back to 1933 when the Short Brothers famed for their flying boats elected to conduct test flights and ultimately built a factory at the newly created airfield. Today Rochester Airport is in a process of rejuvenation and somewhat of a transition. Many of the old buildings from the 1930’s are still in place at Rochester and the stark contrast between the old and the new is something to behold. New buildings and a modern apron are being built and the old 16/34 runway has been decommissioned leaving 02/20 as the only active runway with a proposal to upgrade it to an all-weather surface in the future. Rochester hosts a large variety of general aviation aircraft along with a fixed-wing flying school and a popular Autogyro flying school.
