Falcone Borsellino Airport is an international airport located 32 kilometers west of Palermo, at Punta Raisi. The Palermo Airport is the second airport of Sicily in terms of passengers after Fontanarossa Airport in Catania. The airport is named Falcone Borsellino in memory of the two leading anti-mafia magistrates Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, who were murdered in 1992 in Palermo. The idea of a new airport dates back to 1953, when it was decided to replace the Boccadifalco Airport, located a few kilometers west of Palermo, which at the time was no longer suited to the traffic needs.\nIn 1956, the project of a new airport was presented to the Sicilian Region and subsequently to the Ministry of Transport. The inaugural flight was made on January 2, 1960, from Rome Ciampino Airport. A new, larger and more modern airport was designed in the 1980s, on the occasion of the 1990 FIFA World Cup held in Italy. The work on the new terminal was started in 1987, and it was inaugurated in the summer of 1995. Landmarks Adelaide has been updated for compatibility with the recent World Update and is now available on Orbx Central. Primarily, building positions, terraforming, and exclusions have been adjusted to match the photogrammetry, submerged marinas restored, and vegetation distribution fine-tuned. In addition, we've added custom helipad models to the two hospitals, and the cruise ship in port has a helipad as well. Also, a couple of additional custom freighters and powerline towers were added to the port. Please note that we have no control over the reddish hues in the photogrammetry city itself, which includes facades and the ground textures; it's been reported to MS. Our custom orthoimagery files are still present but suppressed by the photogrammetry; if you prefer to fly with photogrammetry deactivated, it will display as before.

Bush Aviation refers to air operations carried out in remote areas of the world. It involves operations in rough terrain, where there are no prepared airstrips, requiring often adapted equipment. Bush Aviation is carried out in all conditions climatic. Its goal is to supply posts isolated, pilots often have to face unfavorable weather. In addition, planes land without marked runways nor equipped with guidance instruments. SimWorks Studios and FS Academy have partnered to create four different missions in this package. Hi all, We're currently working on making the three city products compatible with the World Update. We needed to wait for MS to integrate their final changes and thus didn't get much of a head start. However, Landmarks Adelaide is already completed and ready for testing (see below). Until our updates get released we'd suggest removing the packages from your Community Folder, especially if you have photogrammetry activated. In the meantime, enjoy the many new features and enhancements that WU Australia has to offer, not to mention the four custom airports and rural POIs, some of which aren't all that easy to find ;-). And make sure you check out the Fokker too - what a beauty! As you can see from the list of POIs included with the World Update, only a handful of structures in each city will be duplicated making our Landmarks products by no means redundant. Besides, these Landmarks packages are much more than just a collection of buildings, they enhance the entire coverage areas, including vegetation, nightlighting, add helipads and "clutter", and fix issues typical for photogrammetry areas, like sunken or invisible features in water, bridges covered in water, trees where they shouldn't be, elevation steps, etc. In regards to airports, our YBBN, YMEN, and YBMK appear to be fully functional with the World Update though there may be a few minor issues, like tree infringements or coastline steps, that we'll address in updates as needed.

Zakynthos International Airport "Dionysios Solomos" is an airport in Zakynthos, Greece. The airport is close to the town and beach of Kalamaki. Kalamaki beach is part of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos. The endangered loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) lay their eggs at the beaches of the marine park at night during the summer months. This has resulted in aircraft movement restrictions. Flights are not permitted to take off or land between 10:00PM to 5:00AM. It is at the jurisdiction of the Greek authorities to allow aircraft movements at night under extenuating circumstances. The airport opened in 1972. An expansion of the airport's apron area to 35,100 m2 was completed in 2003, and a new 22,150 m2 terminal building was completed in 2008. The airport is 4.3 km from Zakynthos town and other seaside tourist destinations such as Laganas, Tsilivi and Kalamaki. The main approach to the airport is Runway 34. Prague Airport has about 50 airlines, connecting Prague directly with over 120 destinations in the world, including Orbx airports such as EGNT Newcastle, LDSP Split and LIEO Olbia. For those that enjoy cargo operations, LKPR sees five scheduled cargo airlines connecting the city to many destinations in central and eastern Europe. Dozens of companies providing charter flights also operate from this busy airport. Beyond the airport, we have included 21 custom POIs such as the Motol University Hospital (with landable helipad), Hvězda Summer Pavilion, HORNBACH Praha and Šestka shopping stores. 90 sqkm of custom orthoimagery improve the cloud-affected imagery that is currently seen in sim.
