Great video Frank and a reminder to all of the cost of freedom! Imagine flying a DC3, low level, in the dark from a base in England and fly to a small village and arrive at a approximate time! Then return home! Hats of to those brave airmen. The story of the Vercor maquis is hard to imagine today but neither is it so far in the past. A member of my wife’s family was murdered by the Nazis for his resistance near Albi in south west France. Lest we forget! Kind regards, John.
