  1. With the great work of Marcus at the Asturias airport (LEAS), I would love to see the Morgal LEMR aerodrome where next to it is the Fernando Alonso training circuit and a complete mesh of Asturias. the city of Gijón, with its largest building in all of Spain which is the labor university, its oldest stadium in Spain which is that of the real Sporting de Gijón, Oviedo, and Aviles. landscapes of pure nature such as cangas de onis, los oscos etc..etc..

    G'day everyone,

For those of you not following our project progress page at Facebook I figured it was a good time to make a brief update post.

If you are not unfamiliar with the page and is interested in the progress of this project I recommend checking it out. I aim to share something weekly and it's a nice way for me to keep in touch with all of you!

Here is a link if you want to check it out:

    As for the progress:

First of all I want to share that Jetstream Designs joined me earlier this fall on this project. I assume most of you are familiar with his work (he got a lot of his work on the Orbx store that I really recommend checking out). He has made incredible sceneries such as Paris-Orly, Toulouse, Nantes, Linate, the list goes on. An incredible talent that share my view on visuals and quality and is bringing a lot to the table.

Regarding the construction progress we are moving forward quickly at the moment. The more time consuming tasks like the terminal areas are locking in on almost one pier per week now with T5A/B/F probably finishing up before end of this month, which leaves work with T2 & T4 before that whole complex is ready. A lot of the airside buildings are at a late stage in the process. I spent quite a bit of time on some new custom GSE items earlier this fall that will be introduced at ESSA and some were introduced in the ESMS update recently released. We got quite a bit left on landside things and the less noticeable building objects, which should be a quick turn around in comparsion to the other things we are working on.

The ground is finishing up and we landed incredible ortho imagery that combined with the updated high-res mesh and our new ground texture set is really a huge difference (in our humble opinion at least!) to the current offerings. I hope to showcase that in the next few weeks.

I know a few of you are wondering about the P3D and X-Plane version, those will be looked at once this is complete and released and as long as there is a market for it at that point they will be converted.

Here are some screenshots from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, please note it's all a work in progress with a lot of objects missing, and things might change.

    Hope you enjoy!

    Cheers,

    Marcus

  3. Hello guys, surely many of us did not know of the existence of the AirAsturias airline in the past, today I share a little with you to have some more information.

Total thanks to Marcus Niberg for such laborious work, I hope in the future the other areas that run through Asturias can be studied.
    Thank you.

¡Lo siento si no tomé medidas si me contactaste! Las banderas deberían haberse agregado con seguridad, eso fue un error de mi parte. Espero que esta nueva versión cubra lo que inicialmente te perdiste.

Hello Marcus, I have sent you an email with a lot of information of your interest in case you want to take it into account.
    all the best

  5. A little history of LEAS On June 18, 1968, the first commercial flight to Madrid took off from Asturias Airport with 29 passengers. The plane, a Foker F-27, flew at a speed of 428 kilometers per hour, supported a maximum takeoff weight of 18,000 kilos and could carry 44 passengers. Thirty-five years later, on October 9, 2003, an Airbus A340/300 took off from the same airport bound for New York with 241 passengers, flying at a speed of 890 kilometers per hour, with a maximum takeoff weight of 260,000 kilograms. and be able to transport up to 260 passengers. The contrast between these two operations can indicate the evolution of air transport in our region.

  6. What an illusion it makes me to have the airport of my state in MSFS and looking at the captures I see that the walkways are in transparent glass and the flags of my country, my community and Europe in the P3d version were never there and the dark gates were never updated, but I am very happy about this great news, I am even beginning to believe that my airport photos that I sent to Orbx were worth it. It's possible.....

Repeat your flight, make an app for my hometown Gijón and you will have a good Asturian cider for free!
