the gap between Orbx and the customers has grown

    I agree.

So, a statement from Orbx that they can't tell whether they GB South will be developed but is still on the wish list would leave you in the same position you are now.

True, but at least it would feel as if they actually cared about customers and potential customers if they interacted with them. People are asking a very reasonable question regarding Orbx completing a series of products for a specific region. This isn't some wishlist for an airport in a region that Orbx has no history of releasing products for. Even if the response was 'no news, but we are listening', would have been better than just ignoring them. For months.

  2. Hopefully the meshes are fixed soon, they make such a difference. I am holding out on the recently released Mt Cook until things are fixed up.

Devs must be so apprehensive every time MSFS release a new update, waiting to find out if something that was working fine is now something broken and requiring fixing.

Out of interest, are their any further mesh releases planned?

    That is awesome!

I looked for clues for a release date in the choreography.... at some points the dancers arms cross and I can kind of see an 'x' (if I turn the monitor on its side and close my good eye)

    Ne'X't Week!!!

    Release this Friday - 27th August. https://pilotplus.io/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Release-Date-Promo.jpg

Yup......I'm an international code breaker

  4. Seen Orbx Scandinavian airports on sale on the MSFS marketplace. Will the same airports go on sale on the Orbx store over the next week?

I want to get a couple of the airports while on sale and to go with the World Update - but would rather get them through Orbx than the marketplace.

This is really excellent news !

Of course everyone has their additions as we all have our particular spots of the planet that we enjoy the most.

A gentle "plug" for an area that has always been something special for me since I began flight simming so many years ago.

I really miss Bowerman.  It was just so neat in FSX and for me became a classic. When asked by friends about Orbx my answer was always the same.  Spectacular scenery that is a must have, but check out Bowerman and you will see why I enjoy what they do so much :)

I appreciate that your plate is full for this year, but would it be possible at some point in the future to make stopping off at the "Luna Cafe" a reality again for MSFS.

It would be a classic reborn :)

But for now your roadmap will give all of us many happy hours to look forward to.

Well done folks, very well done indeed!

    Cheers

    Pete

Totally agree about Bowerman. One of my first flight sim experiences was at that airport. Would love to see it again.

  6. The airports are instabuys!

With the London pack - a couple of questions come to mind:

How does this fit in with the streaming data? Or is it for offline only?

If MSFS update London as part of its world updates in the future, will it just be a case of choosing which landmarks to display?

Seeing how Orbx and other scenery developers Co exist with the streaming, updated world MSFS are releasing is going to be very interesting over the next few months. Such a difference from the static, hard drive constricted worlds in fsx, p3d and xplane. Exciting though, what a time to be a simmer!!
