  1. I believe the Scenery component does not need to be updated and that the Client is the only item that needs to be replaced? (not Content or Scenery) I'm sure that means all Orbx scenery should be currently compatible? (I haven't seen the official announcement as yet) I'm interested if the release works on scenery rendering, and spreading the use of the available cores 'out of the box'. Aussie
  2. Thanks Scott. Yes, I'm sure it is a long walk around from that new hotel. Great day today weatherwise. Thousands of people few in today for the ANZAC Day Dawn, and morning Parade. A low C130 fly past this morning. Up ANZAC Parade and over Mt Anslie. Aussie
  3. Yes, A nice aircraft. Another angle: I like it in white.
  4. Hi Gerold. Our Federal Parliament sits in Canberra at various times of the year. They consider themselves VIPs . The RAAF VIP Squadron is based here and their aircraft travel all around Australia and overseas. When you consider Australia is 22 times larger than Germany, (ie. Google tells me that Germany is 4.61% of Australia's area) the aircraft cover a fair bit of distance taking Polies back and forth. A bit of maritime coastline to patrol as well. Aussie
  5. Better an hour spent aircraft watching rather than shopping I hope the AI this morning in MSFS 2020 matched real life. Aussie
  6. Went shopping with the wife, this morning at Costco, near the Canberra airport. I shot a few pictures through the fence while she shopped. As YSCB is now on the Orbx site I thought you might be interested in some of the aircraft over at the RAAF side (Fairbairn), this morning, in real life. A Qantas Boeing 717-2BL (VH-NXR) taxies towards the Terminal after having landed on Runway 35. In the background, is a RAAF E-7A Wedgetail AEW&C aircraft (Based on the Boeing 737-700 series). To the right of that, is RAAF A36-002 (A Boeing 737-7DF VIP Aircraft). To the right of that is a RAAF P-8A Poseidon muliti-mission maritime patrol aircraft (Based on the Boeing 737-800 series). To the right of that, is the front of taxing RAAF A56-003 FA-7X Dassault Falcon 7X VIP aircraft about to cross Runway 35. Finally, on the right of it, is RAAF A36-001, another VIP Boeing 737-7DF VIP aircraft. Both VIP 737s departed on Runway 35 shortly after. An interesting morning. Much better than pushing a shopping cart around. Aussie
  7. Nice shots. (The first two are a reasonable distance north from the Gold Coast )
  8. Certainly, see the difference in the clarity, of the Title bar, up the top.
  9. I'm still enjoying simming after 40 years as well W2DR. I don't think my interest has waned over the past few years. I am retired and my wife is happy for me to spend time down the shed, either building or flying the B737 sim. There is always something to do, or improve, in either hardware, software, or my skills. Aussie
  10. He was the short guy on the left in the old family photo W2DR. I believe your great grandmother may have had a wild night in a Cantina at some stage. Only a rumor. C-3PO may have been on a mission? You haven't found yourself speaking gibberish at any stage or making Droid like sounds have you?
  11. There are three, corrugated iron kangaroos weighing around 15 tonnes, out near the taxiway, returning to the terminal, from the 17 end of the main runway. They are well represented in the Canberra scenery. They draw a lot of comment, in real life, as you taxi back to the terminal, between taxiway B & J. Roos by Jeff Thomson | Canberra Airport File:Canberra Airport Kangaroos.JPG - Wikimedia Commons I was surprised no one took them as a screenshot. Aussie
  12. Wayne! You are calling our Wedgetails a 'plane with the mounting bracket' ?!! Brought a smile to my face.
  13. Are these similar to what you are seeking? GSX Sharing area - Scenery Configs (fsdreamteam.com) GSX Sharing area - Airplane Configs (fsdreamteam.com) Aussie
  14. Well done, John. Very impressive. Looking forward to doing similar when the multiple screen feature is fully developed. Aussie
  15. Brian, I get my new PC builds and upgrades (to my many PCs) from MSY Computers MSY | Your one stop computer pc online shop It is good to have a local store. They have good deals on new packages and very responsive to unusual or specialised requirements. Aussie
  16. I un-installed MSFS, over a year ago, as it did not have multi-monitor support for my 4 external monitors. Therefore, have stayed very happily with P3d v5.3HF2. I also got fed up with all the compulsory updates preventing the occasional use. I noticed this morning that the SU10 beta, now has this multi screen support available for testing. I was wondering if anyone is testing it, could they report how it goes here, regarding frame rates, any stutters, and how it is implemented? Aussie
  17. Updated Skyforce 3D to the new version yesterday. Pretty painless and all OK. Aussie
  18. If you purchase Bathurst (YBTH) airport, that was released a few years ago, on top of Australia V2, you get a pretty good representation of Mt Panorama. Do a search on this forum and you will see some pix. eg: Aussie

  20. Nice shots. Curious your AC is the only object producing shadows at Christchurch.
  21. Well done John. Thank you A very nice video. I particularly appreciate the low flight over the Kalgoorlie and Boulder centres after take off. It is well constructed scenery for the airport, and the surrounds, with nice detail in the trees and dry foliage. The sky in the video looks familiar to me with the area having just an average of 11 inches (270mm) of rain in a year. Thanks again. Aussie
  22. Weird colours Brad. Have you done google search for the 'Super Pit Kalgoorlie' ? Heaps of images there. Maybe the mesh is offset to one side? I must say, having lived in Kal for many years, I have never seen a sky in any of the images like that? Is that a defect in MSFS or REX Weather Force? Aussie
