  5. Yes indeed been following this bloke for quite a while and his unfailing ability to tweak instruments, effects, loopers and other tech to produce on-the-spot off-the-cuff brilliance just impresses the bejesus out of me One pedal, one looper, one mixer + power amp, one mic, one guitar amp, one guitar and one harmonica and I'm in overload This bloke just piles it all on, multiple loopers and effects and blows us all away!
  6. As usual old mate you have given me another wonderful task thank you
  7. Straight "A's" in Maths to calculus level - working careers in marine, aviation and civil engineering where some of that maths learning came in handy - now I sometimes feel that I might be able to be a stand-in for the Count on Sesame Street
  8. Great selections got the toes tapping I'm always torn with Atlantic City - Is Levon's version better or vice versa? This is Levon on mandolin with The Band, he also did a great version on drums at his family Ramble at the Ryman (couldn't fins a vid).
  9. Indeed Many Happy Returns and have a good'un!
  10. Thanks for the great memories from when I was a teenager glued to Movietone News at the flicks I did get to know members of our TPNG services contingent (where I then resided) to the Coronation when I became a member of their services in later years - they all were inspected by the Queen (not many in their unique contingent) and to a man were unfailing impressed by HM and Prince Philip - both of whom I had the privilege to meet in the 1960s and 1970s along with members of their family. The Queen has worked incredibly hard for her country and the Commonwealth over the years and deserves all the respect and affection that she gets - SALVE REGINA!
  11. Yeah my FSX update went like clockwork.
  12. In Australia Slim Dusty told us to love having a beer with Duncan but I would name this dog BOOZER after one of my long deceased red heelers for the same reason - from the the look on his face he's had enough but he still wants more my old dog would pick up cans or stubbies from tables or beside chairs, upend and drain 'em, then get that stupid drunk look on his face he didn't live long but he had a real good time.
  13. Leatherman replaced my 80 year pocket knife a few years back
  14. Lifting a virtual glass to you Roger a fine poem indeed indeed
  15. Outstanding from Eugene considering his circumstances
  16. I'm operating the A2A Cherokee 180 through the current weather event we're having in SE Qld Aust and currently OTG Warwick before heading East towards the Coast. Weather is quite challenging as is the terrain at low levels.
  17. Of course it's a beer Sadly I had to give the beer away for health reasons a year ago now but I can still taste and desire one every afternoon at sunset when I attempt to play darts on the back verandah
  18. I prefer (and attempt to perform the Bob version "Unplugged") but GnR do a great rock version and I always enjoy the different twist given to the song by many other artists/bands
  19. Yes indeed enjoyed that very much thank you ..... MAF have provided such a great service to PNG and the NT of Aust for so many decades.
