  1. Excellent y'all! Some good detective work there. I knew I wasn't going to have to post this pic.... This one is just for fun. Such an iconic airport, love walking around it. Sadly we were leaving but then on to another airport! More later....
  2. Here's one from the PNW I visited last week. I have better clues if no one knows which airport this is from Orbx.
  3. Looks great Ken! Looking at the map in the preview screens I see a few other spots that could use some love, and invite more exploration of this wild area. Spent some time in Zion Canyon (nearby) and a brief day in Bryce, but the entire area is awe inspiring.
  4. Hmmm..... this building at the cemetery looks real enough to me, unless you want 3D grave stones modeled on the grass areas.
  5. I have two, but finding the pictures is a challenge in itself!
  6. I love how the MSFS team will be working for years on updating, improving this sim. That and the 3rd party Devs will bring in a new era of simulation over time. Really looking forward to it.
  7. That's the bridge to Somoa in the background. KEKA But, I must apologize......I posted this one already! Senior moment! I have another one of a PNW most popular Orbx airport. I'll go find it.
  8. """Currently, I am very open to use both and enjoy the best of each until one lets me down. Cheers Carlos"""" I echo your entire post Carlos. I'll use both for sure but only time will tell which one gets the most use. I'm looking forward to visiting Costa Rica in the new MSFS since my time there in 2016. Beautiful country and wonderful people. I don't think either one will ever let me down as I'll enjoy each one to provide me with what I'm looking for on any given day. I will have to run all the sims anyway for testing purposes but that's ok..........I like 'em all.
  9. EDIT This IS an Orbx airport. No guesses? I visited this one last week on a trip to the PNW coast.
  10. Thanks Jack. The Global AI that I bought can be installed into either v.5 or v5 too. Either way I now have nice looking AI everywhere so I'm a happy flyer!
  11. Installed last night and so far I like it a lot. Didn't know it was available 18 months ago and not nearly complete enough to be worth the money.
  12. Thanks again Craig. I did spend over an hour getting to grips with AIG but in the end the "one-click" solution won me over. Have to find something to spend money on, this Covid stuff has shrunk my world a bit. Thankful for flightsims.
  13. Thanks Craig! I did take a quick look at it but balked at the price, at least until I move more and more into P3Dv5. Still waiting on some scenery updates first. I don't like losing some of my paid for aircraft that aren't working in v5 but I have enough to play with now, esp with some A2A aircraft. I don't really fly all that much except for approaches while testing, but I do enjoy the AI flights adding to the airport realism. Really miss that part. Thanks again. Edit Just bought it. Now the momentum toward v5 is picking up speed. lol
  14. Hi all, I miss my AI traffic in P3Dv5. Scouring the internet and looking at what's out there leaves me more confused than when I started! Are there any good AI programs out there, either free or pay, that work with P3Dv5 and are are worth the money of payware? Thanks for any help Cheers
  15. Glad I stopped by today. Get well soon Terry. I'll also say a prayer for your wife to have you stuck in the house. Hope everyone weathers this storm in a good way.
  16. Yep, was there over the July 4 holiday. I'll have to grab another one.
  17. ha ha Ok, my turn. My Dad, who is mostly deaf told this one to me. Two old guys were chatting when one said to the other "these new hearing aids are wonderful. I can even hear the birds chirping now!" His buddy says "that's great Jack, what kind is it?" Jack replies "O, about 6:30"
  18. Thanks for the memories John. For me the times were a bit different, but still the bands, the girls, the courtesy to all were the norm. Met my future wife when I was 16, her 15.
  19. First Flt Sim Expo for me and it was amazing. Orbx outdid itself in every way. Had a great time working at the Orbx booth on Sat and Sun, meeting all the team, seeing all the other vendors, and interacting with many simmers from all around the world. Here's a pic of the hotel itself and one of a simmer taking the controls of an Orbx TrueDeck Panel by Flight Velocity. (checking my bank now so I can get one!)
