  1. And we haven't got any jet bridges here at Innsbruck Airport.
  2. Google is your friend I did a search by the registration number of that Korean plane. This is on display at the Pearl Harbour Aviation Museum at the Ford Island NALF (PHNP), Hawaii.
  3. @Stillwater Gerold, may I still partizipate in guessing, although I can't post a follow up pic?
  4. No Gerold, sorry, as I wrote earlier in this thread, I have no more digital airport images left for uploading. So I think it is the one's who guesses the first of Ripcord's airports turn to continue. But I hope I am still allowed to participate in future guessing?
  5. John, you are correct, of course I have forgotten Taiwan. Austalia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, together with Irian Jaya (the western, Indonesian part of the Island of New Guinea) we count among Oceania though.
  6. @John Heaton For us Europeans South East Asia and Far East is not the same. Far East is China (at least parts of it), Japan, the Koreas. South East Asia is Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, East Timor, Brunei. I hope I haven't forgotten one. Edit: I have forgotten one in South East Asia, namely Singapore.
  7. Exactly Gerold, it is @VH-KDK turn now, the pics have been taken at Longreach. It was an unforgetable trip through Outback Queensland back then, from Winton, where we flew in from Brisbane, travelling on the Matilda Highway via Longreach, Barcaldine, Blackall to Charleville, from where we flew back to Brissie. Did lots of sightseeing on the way. One cannot imagine how much there can be seen in such a remote area.
  8. I would have literally hundreds of appropriate airport pics but unfortunately all of them on oldfashioned slides. So I have only the following few left in digital format. They are obviously of an Australian airport again, which is neither Orbx payware nor freeware but is included as enhanced airport in the Australia 2 full fat region. So I hope this is okay. BTW this one will be an easy one for @John Heaton Pics are from December 2005. First one me (on the right) and a buddy on the wing of a 747. AFAIK this is the only airport in the world where you can do such a "wing climb". An unpaved runway can be seen in the background. Us on the wing again In the cockpit of the 747 Adjacent to the airport is a quite famous aviation museum. Another frind of mine in front of an Avro 504K. I hope I don't make it too easy, when I point out that this Airport has its place in the history of Australian aviation.
  9. Okay thanks to @boetie, I found it. It is Horn Island. But is this one really busier than Bundy?
  10. I haven't found any FNQ airport which is, according to John, much busier than Bundy and looks like in John's pics.
  11. On both pics a Qantas Link Q400 can be seen. We have to check their route plans. Edit: at least I assume it is a QFLink also on the 2nd pc.
  12. These ground textures don't look like belonging to an Orbx Airport to me. Neither payeare nor freeware. Maybe an enhanced airport?
  13. Could be that they are waiting to see what MSFS 2020 will bring along, before confirming or cancelling any major project.
  14. @boetie @VH-KDK Well done guys, you are absolutely right, it is Brissie. And yes, the cranes in the background are the clue I was referring to. I think it is obvious, that it is an Australian airport (Jetstar, Qantas) and YBBN is AFAIK the only Australian Orbx airport with harbour cranes in the vicinity. Regarding the trees, maybe they have been cut down in the meanwhile?
  15. Naja, "schön" ist es nicht wirklich, Gerold, aber vielleicht ein bisschen was zum Knobeln. Obwohl, schwierig ist es eigentlich auch nicht. I think this one is not too difficult, although no airport building can be seen in this shot. But there is a clue in the pic which IMO makes it clear which airport it is. When posting the answer, please tell us, why you have figured it out So no guessing please. BTW, the pic was taken on July 22, 2013. Have fun!
  16. That's YMML. Easy, because of the two distinctive towers.
  17. Is it now Gerold's turn again or may I throw one in? Great thread BTW.
  18. Yeah, I fully understand what you mean.
  19. You have to see those POIs as kinda easter eggs. Go and find them.
  20. I think it is not I think it is not so much about the textures, it is about the correct placement of the landclasses. And AFAIK the large parts of the Sibirian consist of larches which are changing their colour into a bright yellow in autumn and then leave their needles in winter. You won't find many larches in Canada.
