I use the tmstr 16000 set - and also tried the airbus 360 stick - using the twist rudder - and with the pedal's setup as Tmstr rules using the
TMC throttle as the mother - and also without - using direct USB for the pedals. Drivers are up to date
I thought that this was an MSFS problem - but it also occurs in DCS
John, so you get this strange behavior with all the above different setups? That's really strange. 🤔

Happy for you to jump in.
Not a clue, but I know Orbx released Sydney Seaplanes base recently so I will take a guess at that.
Yeah, looks like the pelican sculptures at Rose Bay.

Happy Birthday Graeme! Hope you had a good one.
Sorry for being late, but I did not pay attention to this thread, because I don't know anyone called Boatie.😁

That just put an end to a 35 minute search as to why P3D v6 wasn't being recognised. 😁
P.S, Is that an old avatar Nick? You still have hair! 😮
Now I know, why you are wearing a hat on your avatar Ron. 😆

Just for a larf - recently - on the other main forum - I was chastised by an American bloke -for miss use of English grammar
when I write in that forum
I had to look up the meaning of "chastised".😀
And the forum's spell check doesn't seem to know the word either. 😄
That confirms the topic's title is right.
PS: Edit because of bad grammar and spelling.

Hello Carlos,
I have a reply this morning, to the effect that the develper will be fixing this as soon as possible. When a developer says "as soon as possible", it might take loooong...😄 Sorry, couldn't resist 🙂

Hello,
the internal reply from the developer was:“It happens only with snow. it should be a bug in the sim as padu has a custom photoreal. Probably photoreal with snow causes this bug”
But the hole sim is photoreal.
I have seen similar effects in default snowy scenery in Greenland also.

Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport?
I think that's s good guess, because the name of the vessel indicates Toronto.

As many others, I suggest flying in the PNW.
Here is the then famous video of Patrick Scharnovsky aka Jigsaw, which was officially used by Orbx to promote their first outside of Australia scenery, namely PNW. This video made me changing my mind and to finally switch as a diehard FS9 fanboy to FSX, only to be able to fly in this groundbreaking and innovative gorgeous PNW scenery.

Hello simulators
I have problems with the installation of Orbx sceneries. While all American sceneries were installed without any problems, German and many European ones do not work. There are no buildings available. Everything else works. During the last installation everything was ok, but not anymore. I will only mention Kiruna (ESNQ). Stockholm (ESSA) is ok. I have P3D v5, what can and should I do. At the last install everything was ok.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
Moin HaJo,

what does the plug icon mean? I only just discovered what the star means by reading the post above...
These plugs tag every add on (payware and freeware) airport, POI, building etc.
Not sure though if they also tag every object coming with sceneriy packs like the Orbx GB series.

Hi Wolfgang
Thank you
Yes, I understand that, thanks
The problem with that plug icon is that it's so tiny too, you need to zoom in a lot to see them and have an idea of where to zoon in, while with the star there is no way to miss an airport. 😊
Cheers mate
Carlos
Okay, now I understand.

Carlos, if I understood you correctly in the other thread, you like to have stars in order to easier locate your add on airports on the MSFS flight planning map. The stars are not an indication for add on airports though but for all enhanced airports. Also the default enhanced airports like e. g. the default EDDF come with a star. The indicator for add on airports is this funny looking small symbol (a plug?) you can see left of the star in John's screenshot above.

John, just go to Content Manager and remove any not wanted plane, scenery etc. from there.

Yes, these green "arches" (or what you will call it) look like Hobart.

Hi all. I just ran into a marvelous resource for MSFS 2020. Most of us know the frustration of not having a directory of airports by country in MSFS 2020. A guy calling himself "The Brein Corporation" has compiled a full airport list and set it up to display on a Google world map. It's easy to use and really helps in flight planning. Here's the link: https://msfs.breincorporation.com. Hooray for The Brein Corporation!
19 hours ago, BradB said:I had trouble with that link Rodger (unsecure) ?? . Maybe this one will work : https://msfs.breincorporation.com/
Great find Rodger, thank you very much for sharing. The airports are even clickable to get loads of information.
And thank you John for fitting the link.

MSFS no internet, what happens?
in General Discussion
Posted · Edited by wolfko
I experienced that once. Scenery is becoming quite ugly, no satellite/areal ground imagery any more (just landclass), no PG (what was no problem for you, if I remember correctly - I couldn't fly without it)
mesh loses quality, AFAIK also vector data are gone, the scenery looks just like in early FSX days.
Edit: and of course no live weather data. Default enhanced airports looking like stock.
