    Navigraph has acquired SimBrief

Navigraph, the flight simulation community's trusted source for updated charts and navigational data, has acquired SimBrief. The acquisition is a natural progression of the already close collaboration between Navigraph and SimBrief. It builds on the integration between the two platforms existing since 2013 and provides the ability to do flight planning using up to date navigational data.

How will this affect my SimBrief account?

SimBrief will remain free to use, as it always has been. A new simplified Terms of Service is now available which covers both the Navigraph and SimBrief services, it can be viewed here.

For now, you can still log in using your original SimBrief account, but eventually SimBrief will use Navigraph accounts for all users. To ensure that SimBrief users don't lose access to their settings when this happens, any remaining SimBrief accounts will be automatically converted into Navigraph accounts when this transition is complete.

Of course, we recommend that you start using a Navigraph account already from today - It's easy and free!

    I don't have a Navigraph account

Now is a good time to create one! It is free and gives you access to SimBrief as well as a demo version of Navigraph charts. Once logged in to SimBrief with your Navigraph account, you will be given the option to transfer your saved flights, airframes, and dispatch history from your pre-existing SimBrief account.

Click here to create your Navigraph account now. When created, you can choose if you wish to subscribe to any of the Navigraph services or not.

I already have a Navigraph account

We recommend that you log in to simbrief.com using your Navigraph credentials. You will be given the option to transfer your saved flights, airframes, and dispatch history the first time you log in with your Navigraph account.

SimBrief is fully functional without a subscription, but to get the most accurate and realistic flight simulation experience we recommend subscribing to Navigraph Navdata. It gives you up to date navigational data for SimBrief as well as all major simulators and add-ons.

A Navigraph account gives you access to a demo version of Navigraph Charts. By subscribing to the Navigraph Ultimate subscription you will not only get updated navdata, but also full access to matching airport and enroute charts through Navigraph Charts.

    mail?url=https%3A%2F%2Flegacy.navigraph.

Navigraph Charts is available as a desktop application for PC and Mac, and as an app for iOS and Android tablets. It can also be accessed via any modern web browser, and inside the virtual cockpit of add-on aircraft, such as:

    • Aerosoft A330 and A318/319/320/321 for P3D

    • Avitab for X-Plane

    • PMDG B747, 737 NGXu and 777 for FSX and P3D

    • QualityWings B787 for FSX and P3D

    • Working Title Cessna CJ4 mod for MSFS 2020

    • PMS50 GTN750 for MSFS 2020

Our latest feature is the Charts In-Game panel that allows you to view the charts inside MSFS 2020.

  3. Hi,

I was looking for info on FsAerodata forum and came across this info:

"Its a lot of talk about the elevation issues but is no one else experiencing AI traffic problems? With FSAerodata files below addon Airports (..or deactivated) AI Aircraft are parked correctly at the terminal but as soon as if I move the entries above the addon Airports all my parked AI traffic are placed at strange locatins at those airports."

I recalled your post and wondered if this might assist you?

PROCEDURE TO SAVE AND RESTART A ProATC-X Flight Situation::

    Saving an active flight:

To save an active flight ( suggested for the enroute phase only and prior to approach handover.( Does NOT work with all add-on aircraft)

-Open the ProATC/X 'Inflight Menu =0 / Other Options' and select Save Flight Situation.\

    To load a flight:

-Start ProATC/X and start simulator (do not load a flight in simulator).

-In ProATC/X select the flightplan you were flying when you saved the flight.

-Click on the  listed Flightplan and select Load Saved Flight Situation. (If that option us greyed out there aren't any associated saved flights)

    - You will get a list of all the saved flights associated with the selected flightplan. Select the one you want and click on Load.

    - Go to Simulator AND LOAD SAVED FLIGHT !(NOTE: MUST USE THE CORRECT FLIGHTNAME) It will load the flight, ATC and the Aircraft state at once!

  5. Marco,

Unfortunately, many of the new issues from Orbx are not compatible with P3D4.5 and will give you elevation issues like your aircraft is parked  in mid-air and static aircraft are below ground level.

I was interested in several airports and scenery but was "burnt " on purchasing scenery I presently can't use.    So I now always carefully check compatibility!

Too bad they can't retrofit the scenery.  Just wait until all the new MS stuff is released , we will really feel like we missed the boat!:)

  6. IF YOU EVER GET THIS ERROR ON STARTING
P3D4 THE SOLUTION MAYBE THAT YOUR
    IP ADDRESS HAS CHANGED!

Check your IPADDRESS Via CMD.EXE and "IPCONFIG"

    Check two files : Simconnect.cfg in c:\users\name\Documents

                                          Simconnect.xml in c:\users\name\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4

    Dear REX Customer,

We are sending out this email to you to give an update on our server upgrade as well as the service outage.

As you know, we tried to be live by this weekend, but unfortunately, the transfer of the domain name that we use to transfer data between our servers and our products was delayed. It has now been transferred, and we are awaiting the domain name to resolve to our new servers.

We have been told this can take up to 24 hours. Once we confirm that the domain name has been resolved and our testing is complete, we will announce that we are live again.

We truly apologize for this delay as well as any inconvenience this has caused you as a customer of REX. We thank you for your patience in this matter.

    Sincerely,
