  1. At my age the speed seems just right - time to observe and enjoy. It begins on the northeast side heading for the little lake. Camera's over the lake as we make the first turn. Just like following a Fokker. Catch my breath - almost 115 mph in spots. A celebratory loop over the Loop.
  2. When I was young a 'buckanear' was a heck of price for corn but I digress. This is another of the inimical 'Dom Henry's' freeware - the Blackburn Buccaneer. Rolling in on 'Bassenthwaite' with 'Derwent water' over the nose. 'Thirlmere' At the head of 'Ullswater', the community of Glenridding. Enough of this high fuel flow stuff - we're off to simulate havoc to the 'bad guys'.
  3. Pete - your shots are great in any sim. It's pure talent combined with the ability to present it in a screenshot.
  4. Is it at all possible to combine 'pinned items' in the screenshot thread into a single folder along with the various warnings about 'non Orbx scenery'. Personally I have most of it memorized and it does take up a lot of screenshot space.
  5. Where are we with this dynamic ASA livery? Looks Californiaish.
  6. Beautiful stuff Pete. Your snow on the ground is so pristine - no people, animal or vehicle tracks.
  7. Rising abruptly along the west shore of Hood Canal, the Olympic Range is relatively small but quite spectacular. The western slopes are the wettest place in the south forty eight. In the Cowan MD500 (Magnum style) we depart Port Angeles on the north side of the range. Vancouver Island B.C. distant in the background. Starting into the northern foothills. Following the Elwha River upstream. This river, under various names, crosses the entire range. As the terrain rises, so must we or become a small pile of scrap metal blighting the scenery. Looking over towards Seattle.
  8. You probably speak 'Castillian' Spanish .
  9. The regional packs, especially those for XP11, are what got them here. A lot of quick and easy money in the city packs and airports but the regional packs are their cornerstone and, at the risk of repeating myself, they look best in XP11.
  10. To call this a rock is an understatement. Lots of scenic villages though - even an airport. Believe it or not there's a runway back there. All uphill on this side - downhill on the other. Looking across to Tenerife. Here's where the engine starts sounding a bit funny.
  11. Mine is a twenty ounce - later in the day it will also hold a pint of lager .
  12. This plus 'Broome' are my Orbx Australian mainstays for XP11.
  13. Whatever it is, I don't have it.
  14. The Beck-Maloney stagger wing biplane racer of the '70's - 200+MPH from 135 hp.
  15. Making MSFS look mighty fine.
  16. Sue is still active over on 'Bushpounders' forum.
  17. Still getting purchase receipts at old email (starts with 'mo.....') and also, correctly, at new email (starts with 'ol.....'). I requested non use of the old one, sending a copy of my DL but still getting them at both.
  18. In the 90's US military agreed to a single training plane. This Grumman/Sai Marchetti S.211 was an entry but the winner was the Raytheon/Beech T6 Texan (Pilatus PC9). Lift-off at NAS Whidbey. Puget Sound with Rainier in the distance. About to go "Popeye' (IFR for non naval types).
  19. Probably the low level tip of a higher spear.
  20. Clicked on and was told 'invalid invite' - are they trying to tell me something?
  21. The default C172 abeam San Diego -default clouds and TE SoCal.
