  1. Well that's good for you Gumby! Can I come visit it and fly with you? I'll buy the gas.
  2. The begged me, I was tired and didn't want to but they offered me a great deal of money, how could I refuse?
  3. Thanks Calum. I just spent the last hour watching YT's on this jet but despite my best efforts at searching I can't find anything about exactly how the pylon is connected to the wing. This really interests me as an A&P mechanic.
  4. Thanks Martyn. The G3000 is a souped up GTN 750 so it's a joy to use. Glad to see you have the time to post, I know how busy you've been.
  5. First flight in this plane, Orbx's KSBA to Orbx partner's KLAX. This is one hot and fast little jet. Highly recommend if you like biz jets. Departing KSBA Arrival KLAX Departing KLAX for a touch n go.
  6. Wow Mike, these are cool!
  7. Thanks Mike. It’s awesome, wish I had $4.5 million
  8. Thanks Paul. It’s so simply to fly, it’s very automated. Imagine flying a real one?
  9. Thanks Wayne. This is why I find it fascinating, the way the engines are mounted. I’m gonna watch the making of this jet to see just how they attach.
  10. Thanks John. Planes that reach a certain level of sophistication are like magnets to me. I'm gonna fly in some goats, they make great lawn mowers
  11. I find it fascinating how they mounted the engines. It looks like they're barely on the wing. I'm gonna have to try to find a YT on the making of this plane.
  12. I saw the Honda H-jet add on Orbx Direct so I did a YT search for reviews, like what I saw and bought it. I tested it first at 42BC which is from the Kitfox, just to be different. Then flew from KSBA to KLAX and man what an enjoyable plane. This thing just works and works great. I can't say enough good things about the G3000 cockpit. And the price, I can't believe I'm getting such a high quality plane for what I paid!
  13. I'd like to personally thank Orbx's partner Parallel 42 for their outstanding support. I bought the Camping add-on from Orbx Direct and had problems with it in the PMDG 737. I surmised that it might be the PMDG and the way they handle ground equipment. Well, being the dopey kind of guy I am who would go camping in a 737? They told me a little while ago they reproduced it. I'm so pleased with their products from ChasePlane to the Camping add-on that yesterday I bought the Kitfox from Orbx Direct. Please support these guys, their customer support is stellar. Nick, I hope this is the right sub-forum to post this. If not I'm sorry. Jack
  14. HA! Cool shot Iain! I just bought this and tested it out. A brilliant aircraft and it seems everything actually works in the cockpit. I needed something to fit between the Kitfox, C310, and the 737, this is a perfect fit and the G3000 is a brilliant avionics suite because it's modeled closely to the GTN 750.
  15. Fantastic shots Johnny! I especially love that second one.
  16. Beautiful, there’s absolutely nothing like aviation.
  17. Very nice Paul, especially the second one.
  18. Thanks TTM. I used to use it with P3D but it did something I didn’t like, I forget exactly as it’s been a while. Yes, this sim is different on G/S capture in all planes. I don’t know if it’s more realistic or not. I use SimBrief to create a plane and then use the desktop app and it locates it in PMDG’s flight plan folder so very nicely. As for the plates, I use free online approach plates from AirNav I think it is.
  19. Terrific Paul! Like night flying, sea plane flying adds a whole new dimension. Try sea plane flying at night!
  20. Nice shot Jon, but gosh, what an odd looking hotel. It takes a while to get used to it, for me at least.
