  1. Even a walk around would be good for me. Especially during an overhaul, then I’d be in my element. Flying in one? Meh, but seeing one disassembled, yes! That would be cool.
  2. Thanks Paul, indeed, the mesh is amazing. And thanks, it took me a while but it's done.
  3. Thanks John! Started a small cherry/maple table today for the printer.
  4. Thanks Landon, I think they look the best so far. The desk is just for the iMac. I appreciate your comments my friend.
  5. I have a couple of IKEA’s, they’re not too bad and cleverly designed.
  6. Thanks Iain, I’m very pleased with it. The old one was very old and just particle board.
  7. Thanks Wayne. Yes, it was started in May and completed last night. Solid cherry, dovetail joints in the drawers, glass top over leather inlay. I’ve been very fortunate to have a wood shop.
  8. It’s your way of showing respect Paul and it’s admirable. She was a refined and elegant lady. May she Rest In Peace my friend.
  9. Thanks Mike, couldn't agree more. Now that my desk if complete I'm hoping to spend more quality time flying.
  10. MSFS Orbx's Alaska Mesh I really miss the original Orbx PAVD and PAHO so I decided to look at them in the Mesh. It was a nice flight. And, no bridges. Departing Valdez, the mountains in this mesh are amazing. This is quite impressive.
  11. Gosh Iain, you make a darned good salesman for Orbx products! Now I have to buy this one too!
  12. Fine tribute Paul, well done and thoughtful.
  13. Delightful images Don! It's nice to see you too like this jet. I think Honda made a very elegant jet and boy would I love to own one, or at least fly on one.
  14. I might but I like to keep only a few planes.
  15. Very nice shot Johnny. Beautiful old biplane.
  16. Thanks John. I’ve always preferred weather like this in both the sim and real life.
  17. Thanks Landon. That was live weather which is a delight to use.
  18. Absolute top drawer. The way this G3000 is modeled is darned near to perfection. I’m getting the hang of flying it now. I wonder how well it’s modeled as far as fight dynamics go. When you go to full flaps the plane really likes to nose up so I now anticipate it with trim when lowering them.
  19. I could never understand this mentality, it’s very foreign to me and I’m ever so glad it isn’t allowed here and is rarely seen here. Landon described it really well.
  20. Hi Pete and Don. I don’t have this plane with the G1000 so I’m not sure how much is modeled. What Pete described is correct though but Pete, as for getting out of the settings, depending on how it’s modeled as I mentioned, on the “Soft Keys,” (the up arrow buttons along the bottom) there should be a “Back” button selection. Keep clicking on that and you’ll be back to the original screen. But like I said, I don’t have this plane, I don’t think I want though it as it’s not my cup of tea. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
