As it hasn't been announced on the forum, It has been available since Friday. TrueEarth Great Britain North - X-Plane 12 - Orbx (orbxdirect.com)
-
Thanks Doug, I've never looked for it or noticed it until you enlightened me.

Thanks for your speedy reply Nick. If only "The Management" processed the ability to communicate as well as you. We wouldn't all be left having to make assumptions 😉

Just fired up Orbx Central and it updated to v4.2.10. Afterwards, I noticed that Prepar3D v6 is no longer listed. A pretty obvious assumption can be made from that. Would I be correct in my assumption?

Hi Matt, Personally, I am hoping to have TrueEarth available in XP12. It has been mentioned somewhere that GB was going to be made for XP12. I hope this is still the case? Was it ever mentioned that any others would be converted for XP12 like Spain, California & Florida for instance? I can't remember.

It certainly was once Mercia Ken, with Tamworth (the capital of Mercia), being 8 miles away. Lichfield (the ecclesiastical centre of Mercia), being 10 miles away. Your reference to Sutton Hoo reminded me of history classes back in my school days, which then reminded me of Tollund Man which is completely unrelated and in Denmark. -

It was far too wet and windy for the drone over Christmas so here's a still from the last summer harvest. -
EGLC London City Airport UDG (Marketplace)
Badl4ndz replied to Badl4ndz's topic in General Discussion
Many thanks Nick. It's just a shame that one has to push so hard for information. I don't use Discord as I use this forum for announcements. However, It seems that Xbox release information isn't announced either as, when a product is released with note that the Xbox version is pending approval or as now available. TrueEarth GB series has been announced as coming soon for XP12 so pending release information is announced. I did check Discord however as it was mentioned in Anna's reply. I have to admit that I'm not familiar with it's format but I could see not see any information regarding the EGLC V2 upgrade for Xbox. I did spot another customer asking if EGLC V2 and UK south will be made available also for Xbox several days ago without any reply other than another customer also asking to the same question. I take from that whomever has the job of announcing release information on the forum, Discord, Facebook and X (Twitter) don't give a hoot about Xbox. Once again, thanks for your time. I'm not finger pointing at you at all Nick and by the way, my reference to Hippos was purely flippant 😉 -
I demand Hippos because it's my human right, but really I would much more prefer an answer when I very occasionally ask a reasonable question. See linked thread. Nick kindly at least responded but was unable to answer. Somebody in Orbx would know... https://forum.orbxdirect.com/topic/219719-eglc-london-city-airport-udg-marketplace/ Many thanks

Whoops! I mean't EGLC London City Airport UPG. I was watching the football and didn't notice my typing error 🤦♂️ -
Hi, I noticed that today, EGLC London City Airport UDG appeared on the Marketplace. It's the V2 upgrade showing a discount for me I assume because I purchased V1. My question is, It is currently only listed as for PC, so will the V2 upgrade be made available for Xbox at a later date and will this be relatively soon?

THIS WEEK'S MEANINGLESS TOPIC (#165)(Nov 3
Badl4ndz replied to Rodger Pettichord's topic in The Neil Hill Memorial Lounge
I found Huddison's YouTube channel and watched his Blackpool Vlog. Quite a departure from his normal topic of MSFS2020 videos. There is another YouTube channel that takes a critical look at mainly the west country, which is the other childhood holiday destination that I experienced many times in the 70s. The channel is called Turdtowns if you wish to take a look. Torbay, the English Riviera was my childhood favorite and a real jewel appears to have lost it's sparkle now. -

Hope I'm not being rude by asking how many decades has it been since you experienced Blackpool? I remember being taken there for holidays when I was around 5 or 6 back in the early 70s and like you, I enjoyed it. I briefly seen it back in 2014 and wasn't at all impressed with how it looks now. I believe it has also become popular for Hen & Stag weekends so lots of drunk adults at weekends. To be fair, many of our coastal towns have suffered decades of decay so it's not on it's own. -
I don't believe it's a good look for a question such as this to be officially just ignored. If a customer is patient and polite when asking if a product that has been mentioned some time back is still planned, or in progress (not demanding any aspect or timeframe). They'll be content and understand If someone who can provide an answer takes the trouble to respond even if it is to advise that it's no longer viable or possible... This post got me thinking of what ever happened to Honolulu or was it the whole island of Oahu? Can't remember if I asked this question last year or the year before. The image of Diamond Head is even used for the default background for forthcoming products.

I found and decided to run the "delete generated files" routine within the p3d folder. Worked fine with no problems but I have since installed an add-on aircraft. I'm guessing any add-on aircraft or scenery will not be found after using the "delete generated files" routine?
-
I fired up the sim not being aware that another patch had been released. I was presented with the update option so continued. That means I didn't delete the cfg or shaders because I wasn't aware. I have post update deleted the cfg file but just wondered. Should I delete the shaders post update or is it too late?

Many thanks for the reply and update Nick. Regards

Where is it? It was released back in mid May on Orbx Central. It's the last week of July next week. We all know the Marketplace is slow BUT NOT THAT SLOW. Anyone care to update us?
