Hi All,
I am returning to simming after quite some time, and for now I am installing my P3Dv4 stuff.
I got the latest Central, and own quite a few products. While most have the icon of "not installed", there are some items that have no icon at all and I am wondering if
they are required for the addons to run, as I don't remember.
They are:
- Orbx Object Flow
- SODE SimObject Display Engine
So, do I need to install this?
Also, was there any particular order that is best to install in? (Global, Vector, Open LC, Buildings/Tres/Flora/etc., Airports, etc.)
Thanks!
Edit: While here, and looking at the impressive amount of partners Orbx now has, I am left wondering... If I already have some of those addons, is it possible to add them to Central, so they're all installed and managed through it? I know they were not bought at the Orbx store, so maybe not getting them added to the account per se, but at least to central as for management? Is that even possible?

This...
Disclaimer first: I *LOVE* Orbx products and have a lot of them.
But looking at the screenshots, I have to be honest and say the change I see is minimal... Sure I see something change in the gifs, but it is so very minimal...
Am I (probably) missing something..?

Even if i started with the Commodore 64, it was Commodore Amiga 500 with 2 floppy drives, HD 40 MB, and 3 MB RAM expanded. I had all the flight simulators games, included all the jet military simulators (these things belong to the 80's because today no more great simulators like those, in despite of today hardware would allow really great games of this genre).
Still working
What do you mean? There are great jet/combat sims, like DCS World for example.
Edit: besides having played them originally, I also collect them now. I have an Amiga 1000, and a 500, 500+, 600 and 1200. And that's just Amiga of course

I Actually have a very long list but don't always do the airports in order of request. It depends on difficulty, the availability of good information (although I usually check air photos of the airport before I add it to the list), and where it is located in the world - I tend to concentrate on Canada because I live there but also try to do one or two in Central and South America for each pack. Since the release of the NA Landclass I may do a few in Mexico but will try to do SABE for the next pack or the one after. Right now there are just over 50 on the list and I can do about 15-20 per pack depending on time and how many others are submitted.
Larry
Hey Larry, how are you? Any update on SABE? Seen a couple of packs go by and no luck yet

Hi Larry! Any idea about the above for SABE? Saw a few updates to the packs but not this one yet (But I don't know how you guys work these)
Thanks!

SAEZ is a bit big to do easily however I will add SABE to my list. A ways down right now but I try to do at least one Central or South American Airport per pack.
Larry
Sweet, thanks for considering us!
SAEZ I saw there is the TropicalSim one, though sadly not compatible with P3D.

I would like to move away from the always the same NA/EU airports and get some SA in please... SAEZ, SABE

*Any* Airport outside of the US, Europe and Oceania
Reason: Can we make FTX really *Global* at some point?
