Just some recent experience:
I was in Englang (Nottingham) over Easter, and could not understand some of the guys there (neither could my co-travellers).
I was in Oz two weeks before and could understand them well.
How comes? Has the Brexit made the English to leave common language as well?
And for you Gerold I had no probs understanding you.
Eezy peezy.
Stillwater restaurant next week for lunch, I'll organise.🍻

The first time we visited England (we're from The Colonies) I realized that you don't speak no good English over there 😄.
I have to agree, they seem to drop letters from words
and a lot, I can't understand what they are saying. They
seem to talk like they have colds. But I'm not picking, even some of
us Aussies sound like we are outback yahoo drongos.
Plz take no offence.🤬

This is very apt Grant. An Amazon delivery arrived on Friday. As I do all the ironing in our household, it was a new ironingboard cover for my upcoming birthday! My wife thought it was hilarious. I didn't think so.
Spooky.😲

Carlton Draught.
I don't drink wine but I'll put in Mercury Hard Cider.👍
Spirits has to be any kind of Bourbon.
Soft drink has to be a Ginger Beer or Sarsaparilla.

Gumby, I have discovered that quite a few of the FSX freeware planes do work in P3D4. I was able to transfer all but just a few on over. Unfortunately, the few that wouldn't make the leap were among my favorites, but there you go. At least I got most.
Glad a lot worked for you Rodger, I have p3dv5 weather that
would make a difference I'm not sure. I may have to do
a little trial and error, fsx certainly had some of my favourites.
Thanks for the update.👍

All of my scenery is p3d Orbx and all of my aircraft
are freeware. When I was flying fsx it was a
50/50 of purchased aircraft and freeware. Fsx had a
great collection of freeware aircraft sadly hard to
come by now in p3d.

Neither of your dogs seem to concerned about it Don.
Max looks an adorable dog and probably has a cheeky side,
which works in his favour.
Glad your ok mate. I notice you never mentioned anything about
oh lets say, a bruised ego.

Spotting the runway and discovering I've actually got the nose pointing at the threshold. Then - not so good, the bouncing halfway down the runway.
I'm with you on that one Graeme.
I'm usually veering off to the left
or right of the runway.

For me it's trying to land the plane perfectly.
I set a flight plan using real weather and an easy
ctrl/e for start up. For a perfect land I manage about
1 in every 100. With that record my passengers usually
opt for sailing.😱

This Week's Meaningless Topic (#189)(April 17)
in The Neil Hill Memorial Lounge
Posted
The Waverley Area Cricket Arena. (WACA).
It was an indoor cricket venue no longer around.
Great fun with our hopeless cricket side but we enjoyed it.
Our side was called The Spitfires because we were,
nothing like one.
