  1. having a blast working on these strips, thanks for asking. We have a bush flight club that flies Tuesday evenings, be great to have you join us, check out Massive Simulations 32 inc on discord. look forward to seeing you there cheers mate Ken
  2. I have been informed by the team that 26th of this month, all testing is completed and it’s just a marketing thing. thanks for asking cheers Ken
  3. Think the beaver is maybe not the 1st choice, I prefer the Porter and the Kodiak, but the beaver is such a fun aircraft and with practice can get into these strips, half the fun is the challenge
  4. thats a lot of information youve uncovered there not sure if Marlene Dietrich would give permission but you never know
  5. Thank you for the kind words, I love PNG flying and making these strips is a real pleasure cheers Ken
  6. This is the base pack, future packs will have between 6 and 10. Many hours of making the required models for this pack can be utilised in the future bundles, the models here are far more advanced than the P3d stuff, all the vegetation is full 3D, completely new and far more complex. Future packs will also include additional unique models but by using the base pack to save modelling time which can go into including more strips. If these packs prove to be popular the plan is to keep going till as much of PNG is enhanced as possible. Hopefully this is just the start of enhancing our bush flying. cheers Ken
  7. I think it's to do with the backlog, ST Helens was released under the new system where devs can beta test there own, Lonny is still waiting for the microsoft testers to approve it. cheers
  8. lucky you, that 50 acres will be worth a squilllion one day, we see more mainlanders migrating down here every year due to climate change, this years El Nino is gonna be a scorcher for you mainlanders.
  9. great shots, one of my favourite test flights, superbly captured thank you for sharing these. cheers Ken
  10. think you'll find Skellans and Lonny pretty much up to date, let me know when your down and I'll try to catch up
  11. congrats, great flights ahead
  12. Hi Iain, thanks for sharing these, and thanks to the guys for the kind comments
  13. Thank you for sharing these fantastic lighting
  14. I am flying way more than I used to, I blame this on the ONLINE COMMUNITY, I have made so many friends doing this, I joined MassiveSim32 on discord and there are so many talented interesting guys to fly with, We fly tours in GA, Tours in warbirds, Bushflying in some great scenery, DC3's Tubliners, anything an everything, you would be surprised how it opens the world up, simmers from all over the world join in and share experiences from their real world flying days, If I need help there are more than enough 1st officers or co-pilots to help out, I still enjoy doing my own thing but sharing the experience with a top notch bunch of pilots adds so much to the experience. We get in touch through discord and everything from flight plans Flyins, tutorials, recommendations on new aircraft and add ons. Flight simming is so much more than just making a flight plan and flying that route. Online multiplayer in MSFS is awesome , if you have'nt tried it Please give it a go, the worst you could do is make some new friends . cheers Ken
  15. Crazy is correct, paying Microsoft for extreme weather along our flight, Canyon runs With crazy pilots. All good reasons to spend more time simming
  16. Have you heard of Massive Sim, it’s a discord channel where pilots from everywhere join online flights, all good fun, not too serious, flights range from bush flying, warbirds, scenic tours, usually pick a country and fly GA , were currently touring GB and flying Beavers, lots of very experienced pilots to help with any tips . Saturday is usually reserved for airliners on longer flights, something for everyone. You would be very welcome. cheers
  17. you may change your mind when you see it up close, full PBR textures with natural and realistic wethering, I focus on what the pilot sees I could have done some made up interior of the tower but I didn't get access to that area, It's a flight sim, not a passenger sim or an air traffic control sim, I fly online with at least 80 pilots and not one of them was bothered with the interiors, my focus is airside and what you see when you taxi to your parking spot. Some airport terminals where they have large glass facades , like Boulder ,yes the interior is a cucial part, and I have done that, but Launceston had little to gain from that treatment, It's always a judgement call, there are plenty of big international airports being done with fantastic modelling of the internal terminal area. Lonnys character was it's beautifull old weathered buildings and if you notice the sharp airlines hangar has enough glass for 10 hangars. cheers
  18. what is it with you guys and the lady in red, maybe in an update in the RFDS hanger or close even sitting near the clubhouse, might work
  19. Thanks for that shot, it is tempting to place a whole crowd of people to add life, we have an amazing library of scanned people, but I prefer to keep it real, the day I was driven around to take photos, there was literally no one on the apron until an aircraft taxied to the gate. I recommend FSLTL for traffic, the ai aircraft are superb and each aircraft has lots own sounds, lights and while parked workers and support vehicles appear, for me the advantage of this rather than placing a permanent static aircraft is that it becomes dynamic, never the same, FSLTL uses real time traffic from flight radar, there is a few minutes delay, but to have real live traffic gives the airport that authenticity that’s lost when we see the same static aircraft in the same place all the time, with the same wooden people who are always in the same place. For me Dynamic feels better. FSLTL is free, download using the Fly by wire installer, all your airports will come to life. cheers Ken
  20. thanks Anthony, those metroliners were painted by Tim Harris, did an awesome job on them
