  1. It pains me to say it, because I've been a loyal Orbx customer for the best part of two decades - but it seems the company has turned into more of a distributor than a developer. And that's fine - the products it sells from other developers are great - eg FlyTampa's YSSY. The issue is the inhouse Australian products. They mustn't have the market potential like overseas, because they don't get the love they used to from Orbx like they did back in the day. YBBN is not great. It was rushed, and there's major problems (such as the Domestic Jetways) that still haven't been fixed for 18 months - many posts on this forum about it have simply gone unanswered or brushed off by Orbx. So firstly, I'd rather Orbx take their time than release an inferior product. Secondly, if they can't get to it in a reasonable timeframe, get another developer to do it. That seems to be the climate for MSFS2020 and so many developers - if you don't do it, someone else will.
  2. This product looks amazing and I really appreciate the work that went into it... BUT... I'm just sick of the CTDs I get. I have tried lowering my settings (I have a high end PC), I have stacks of add on products from other developers including Orbx and don't have this problem, I almost never get CTDs anymore since the P3D fixes in the last year. I don't know if it's a combination of YBBNv2 and the cityscape, but both together seem to be too taxing at any decent setting (and I don't really want to have low settings just for the times I fly into YBBN). I do run 3xQHD monitors but the settings I use haven't been a problem for any other scenery from a wide range of developers. Sadly I have uninstalled the product, hopefully some fixes can be found to make it run normally on a wider range of settings.
  3. That's the idea. I'm not sure many people are loyal to a single developer and refuse to use anything from anyone else.
  4. Fine. MSFG has done that. To be honest, it's rare that I need to select scenery by developer. I like Orbx, they were the first add ons I bought, but to get global coverage it's best for developers to work on different projects. We've seen this in Sydney where Orbx didn't do YSSY, leaving it to flyTampa, but they're working on the Cityscape. Reverse, they did a CityScape for Honolulu but didn't do PHNL, that's done by FSDT. There are decent sceneries for every major Australian airport, but not all are offered by Orbx. It doesn't make business sense for them to compete with other developers - and we lose out if they do.
