  1. Yes! That is exactly what I see. They are not permanent spikes. They go away when I go closer to them. Edit: I just wanted to note that changing the LOD radius in the UserConfig file to a higher value didn't seem to fix this. For example, going from the default 2.00000 to 3.00000 or even higher.
  2. Zoom in on the city of Avalon and you will see the spikes. Right towards L11 (which is downtown Avalon). To fully see the spike you must enlarge the image.
  3. Hello, I am getting scenery spikes at Orbx Catalina. I tried basic troubleshooting including reinstalling Catalina and also deleting the Content.xml (with a sim restart afterwards). I also made sure to delete my rolling cache and disabled it then restarted the simulator. I also deleted everything in my community folder as well. Please note the image uploaded. Interestingly, the scenery spike will go away when I get closer towards Avalon. It seems to be connected to the level of detail (LOD) radius which I presently have set to 200 (max value) on both. I also made sure I wasn't a victim of the "not saving graphic settings bug" and changed graphics from Ultra back to Medium, then back to Ultra. Any other suggestions? If not, may this be forwarded onto the developer of this scenery?
  4. Your suggestion seemed to have fixed the issue. It appears that I have multiple problems and I have listed a potential solution below: 1) Aircraft pitching up with no explanation or reasoning. Solution: Set flight model back to Legacy (then click apply), then click Modern (then click apply). Also, change forward ballast to a high setting even if CG appears within limits. You can change it back once its apparent the aircraft will no longer pitch up for no reason. 2) Engine dies midflight. Solution: Do not start the aircraft with Control + E. Follow through the entire checklist exactly step by step. The Garmin GPS issue seemed to have resolved itself with a restart of the simulator. I hope the moderators and developers look more into this. The solution for step 1 was posted by another user within these forums and it fixed my issue.
  5. I will try your suggestion if the aircraft is able to be flown. Unfortunately, I discovered another bug with the aircraft. It seems to want to climb immediately when rolling down the runway. As if someone was pulling back on the stick before it reached takeoff speed. I tried trimming full down and it didn't work. Even verified the AI assistance was all disabled. This aircraft has some serious bugs and anyone reading this should consider my experience before buying it. I also unplugged my joystick and plugged it back in, but no fix.
  6. Orbx: I recently purchased the EA-7 Optica and have a major issue with the engine. When I takeoff the engine dies about 15 minutes after departure (I recently used Orbx Catalina). I can generally restart using Control + E and it seems to fix it in the air. On the ground if the engine dies it will not restart. This occurred when I sat at the ramp for a few minutes. Control + E didn't work on the ground either (seems to work only in the air to restart). The Garmin GPS will also stop working if I sit on the ramp for 15 minutes as well. All other default aircraft do not have this issue at all. I have attempted to fix this issue by reinstalling the aircraft from Orbx Central and this did not fix it. Also, flight model is set to Modern. Also, I made sure I do not have the mixture setting assigned to my joystick. Please note this aircraft worked perfectly on SU5 and Hotfix 1. This problem just recently started with Hotfix 2. I am using the latest version of MSFS 2020. Also, I have followed the checklist exactly. I have also tried just Control + E on the ground and then did a takeoff 5 minutes later. Same problem.
