You can try the HPG Airbus H-135 which is freeware and the installer is at Flightsim.to. It has an AP fully capable of all
cruise activities above 60.
As far as I know the HPG H-135 has been freeware some time ago, but is not any longer. However, good to know it has a working AP!

Thank you Iain!

Thank you Wayne - you have probably seen the video that someone else was able to take? Then you can nearly guess the experience. You have to slow down a lot before the first hairpin, and you really have to know what is coming after the next corner...

Is that the Cowan H125 for msfs? And if so is it equipped with a working AP for cruise?
My Cowan Bell 222 has an AP in XP but not in msfs and this is really bad...
Thanks Andy, I did not scrap the canyoun walls with my rotating wings. Or at least the sim did not recognize it...
Indeed this is the CowanSim H125. Unfortunately it does not have an AP - does any helicopter for MSFS already have one (I would love that)?
But it is really easy to fly and can be trimmed very good, so that you can manage some, say, 10-minute-straight flight legs without too much work. And you can easily slow it down and bring it to hovering mode.

Thanks John!

Perfect. Old treasures fit so well here!

A great variety of places and views, Carlos. Once again...

You are causing a major traffic jam at the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, Andy!

If Bahrein was correct, then Graeme @boetie wins the coconut!
I would have another Orbx place, in case Graeme does not find one...

No point in my doing anymore
That is the trouble, John: We have probably visted them all in the last years and need to repeat ourselves.
But we should try to, from time to time!

Nice & wild quest, to make it easier we should get back to a relation with Orbx airports - once we have solved this one.
I just guess Alice Springs…

That’s it. The purpose of a flight simulation… 😎

Even before seeing @ikbeniks post ...
... I planned to do a little teaser tour around the same region. So I can add some more views.
Of course there are some Elephants at Elephant Hills:
Closing in to the Falls...
... and there is real thunder around!
Now... deviating from the real scenic flights... into Batoka Gorge!
At the rapids there are numerous helipads.
And, as a bonus, there is also some wildlife in the scenery.
BTW: From the Zambian side you can also make a scenic flight with an Ultralight. You just can not take a camera with you on these flights.

Very probably - he's been there and shown pics from there before
Nothing like the red dust of the Aussie outback - is there?
Scary that you remember my travels, "AI" John! And you located the dust correctly...

Perfect Paul, just perfect. Even the windsock is correct!
You can see Kata Tjuta in the background, btw.
Who wants to post another shot?

That is correct: An area with lots of iron in the sand to turn it red...

Good idea. And it is neither Antarctica nor Asia!

You got it Gerold! Beautiful area for sure.
Lovely! It was diffictult to guess because not directly from an airport, and not with characteristic views that may even be depicted in the Orbx scenery. But the coordinates helped a bit, as did your home location.
I have found something directly from an airport, certainly NOT close to my home location:

I visited a place last week that had a listed Heliport. I thought I'd post a picture of it and let y'all guess what is the closest Orbx released airport to this heliport.
Hi Rob, it appears to me that you have visited the Redwood NP last week. And the closest Orbx airport (from my memory) would be Murray Field (KEKA)?

Great pictures. Strange that 2 serious scenery-addon makers have same product in their range, I have the earlier make from Jeppeson2001 and is very likely just like this from //42 a copy is. I find in general that serious (payware) developpers should consider to make only one(very good crafted) addon per area or airport in the whole simworld. Of coarse per kind of flightsim(msfs, xp,...), their are enough worlwide places than are waiting to be presented as sim-addon.
The //42 one is indeed the Jeppeson product, just sold via another channel. Plus via Orbx now. Just a little confusing, but at least no double development- which would have been a waste of energy.

Anything in the pacific area could match Qantas, JAL and these powerlines... I would hope that our area expert @bernd1151 comes by and checks...

Awesome shots Iain! I just spent around an hour exploring the various fields and camps, flying the gorge. Very nice work by //42.
At the Jet Boat spot there is a moving tram on cables to take boaters down to the river, quite a surprise. I'll have to go back and see the bungi jumper.
So much to discover there. The scenery should get subventions from the involved touristic boards - at least from the scenic flight companies in Livingstone and Vic Falls!

A nice collection of planes and places, Iain!

Nice shots despite your FPS problem, Andy. Now we have to guess which airports you flew, after Toronto Billy Bishop...
And I will have to check if my helicopter controls are changed as well (I have two dedicated joystick profiles for the default ones and CowanSim).

So I removed everything from the community folder, was fine again.
And now I have a lot of work to bring all the addons back
Just like Rob did I recommend https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker to always deactivate what you don´t need during a flight.
