  1. I'll answer my own question, now that I've discovered the solution and would like to assist others if they have the same problems I had. Either delete or place OFF after the BGL of the AFCAD files for LEBB and LEAS in Traffic Global at \Documents\TrafficGlobal\AirportFacilities\Scenery\ ... The conflict placing the aircraft in the wrong place will be eliminated. I hope this assists someone. Chuckers
  2. Wow ... that's gonna be a lot of work. I'll just fix as I prepare to fly.
  3. Traffic Global by Just Flight. Are there settings I need to adjust? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Mr default aircraft parking positions at LEBB and LEAS are incorrect. I'm not certain if its an issue with GSX or an issue with the scenery. I'm running P3Dv4.5 and have verified the files for both sceneries. The top picture is LEAS and the bottom picture is LEBB. As you can see the aircraft are way out of position. I own a lot of ORBX scenery and these two airports are the first to give me this type of problem. Any assistance will be greatly appreciate. Chuck
  5. Be certain your level of detail radius in the P3D settings is at High or Medium. Reduce your other settings if that doesn't fix the issue. Check out this post, It should help. Best regards, Chuck
  6. Wow! I am looking forward to this release. It will be great for GA and Bush flying for sure. Great job ORBX! It is because your products that I now utilize X-Plane in addition to Prepar3D. Chuck Rogers
  7. It is so awesome that ORBX does consider its customers' wishes. For me, the two proposals JV has made are very satisfactory. I'm happy with the present setup of global base, vector, open LC and ORBX Trees. Add TrueEarth at LOD15 at one season and LOD14 for all 5 seasons and my needs will be met. I'd purchase both with the discount. I understand costs and don't want to bankrupt ORBX. Possibly, a third option, after all areas are developed, would be to offer them on a 4GB SSD at LOD15 with all 5 seasons. A Big Spenders package. ;-0 Chuck
  8. I can't wait until it's available. I love the seaplane bases. So looking forward to flying into this gem.
  9. I love the challenge of flying GA aircraft from and to totally immersive real world airports. I own every ORBX scenery as a result. Lately, I have been having an increasingly recurring problem of the ORBX airport elevations being messed up to where the airports are unusable. I use Vector and have run the airport elevation configuration. I use the new Pilot's mesh software and have installed more than 50 addon sceneries from various developers and I do not have elevation issues with any of the non-ORBX airport scenery I have installed (FSDT FlyTampa, Flight Beam, etc.), other than KTNP. I didn't start having the elevation problems with the ORBX scenery until I updated to P3D v.4.1. I don't know whether it is a Vector or P3D problem. I do know I want to find a way to fix it. Here are some screen caps of some samples: PAJN https://imgur.com/a/QEjSL KBVS https://imgur.com/a/emXOm PAHO https://imgur.com/a/DbXDI PAEN https://imgur.com/a/PdkMB Everything is updated to the latest version. I have an AS Rock Z-170 motherboard, Pentium i7-7700 4.2 GHz, Nvidia GTX 1080Ti (11 GB RAM) and 32 GB RAM. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated! Chuck Rogers
  10. When I upgraded my computer to a clean, wiped Windows 10, I installed my flight simulators FTX-SE and P3Dv3 and then downloaded the FTX Central and then input my username and password, and started selecting installations, starting with FTX Global, Open LC, Vector, FTX Trees and the regional areas, and it started downloading and doing all the work. I suggest you do it overnight as it can sometimes be like waiting for a pot of water to boil. The closer you watch, the longer it seems to take. It's an awesome process ORBX has set up with FTX Central. It's much beter that the old way.
  11. On an aside, while you are waiting for the excellent ORBX airports for AU to be updated, you should check out FlyTampa's Sydney (YSSY). It's a must have airport when flying heavies in Australia. Likewise, check out PMDG and A2A for state of the art study aircraft. You'll get hooked like the rest of us and eventually fly all over the world. Cheers!
  12. Thank you very much. I deleted the files posted in that thread and was able to auto configure the airport elevations. I appreciate everything that the FTX team does!
  13. Upon attempting to auto configure the airport elevations for P3D v.3.4, I get the following error message: "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore the error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately." In clicking Details, I get the following message: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.IOException: Cannot create a file when that file already exists. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError() at System.IO.File.Move(String sourceFileName, String destFileName) at FtxVector.Configurator.Ui.Forms.MainForm.Aec_AutoBtn_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.8784 (WinRel.050727-8700) When I click Continue, the program does not operate at all. So, I must click Quit and the program quits. Will I have to uninstall FTX Global Vector and reinstall it to fix this problem or is there another option? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
  14. This is awesome news for me, seeing that I own every ORBX FTX scenery product. Your quality of product and generous customer support will keep me purchasing new products as they come out. I will likely hold off on purchasing P3DV4 until upgrades to my favorite A2A and PMDG aircraft are available. I hope other popular scenery developers, FSDT, Flightbeam, etc., follow your lead. I look forward to flying without encountering those nasty OOM messages. Thank you John and the FTX Team for all of the excellent work you do!
  15. Please let us know what you find out either way. It will be good information to share with the community. Thanks!
  16. I am so looking forward to this scenery coming out. It is a masterpiece that must be had by all. Get ready to increase the bandwidth of your servers for the massive downloads you'll be getting when LOWI goes on line for sale. Terrific work, Jarrad, as always. But, this time you out did yourself.
  17. It is so cool that you can refer to Google maps and see the area in Flight Simulator and P3D as it is in real life. We are living in a fantastic time of technology. It's a lot better than the old days when the flight simulators were cartoonish. Now it so real, it's like being there. Awesome!
  18. Bear in mind that the NA package is just general aviation traffic. So, if you're looking for jetliners and heavies, you won't see them with that package. Now, if you use the Australian AI package, that's a different story. It has commercial and GA.
  19. I'm speechless. Your work is impeccable. Absolutely beautiful. The fact that you offer it as as a tribute to Jon Patch is touching. Jon is definitely smiling down on how realistic your projects look. It's difficult to tell the difference from the simulator pictures and the real world pictures, until you see the people in the real world pictures. The fact that you are offering the scenery for free is greatly appreciated. I would pay cash for them. Thank you for making it available to us! As a side note, I took a flight in FSX last night from Victoria to Vancouver in a float plane. I love making these type flights when I can do them. Your work is making me continue to use FSX, because I don't have a good float plane in P3D. I cannot wait for this product to be released.
  20. Thank you! I knew it wouldn't take long for the Orbx Team to fix the problem. All the best!
  21. Thank you for your response, Nick. I'm certain the Orbx team will find a solution to this issue. I will just use FSX Box and P3D v.3 until they do..
  22. I have a previously installed Steam Edition of FSX, as well as the Box Edition of FSX, along with PreparD v3.4, installed on my computer. The FSX Steam Edition and FSX Box Edition are located on my D drive, and my Prepar3D is located on my F drive. When I run the new FTXCentral, it does not detect the FSX Steam Edition. It does, however, detect the FSX Box Edition and Prepar3D v.3, as well as Prepar3D v.2 (which I have never installed on my computer), although the previous edition of FTX Central, also detected Prepar3d v.2 and FSX Steam, and my other installed Prepar3D v.3 and FSX Box. What do I need to do to get FTX Central to recognize the FSX Steam Edition? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
