Is this an ad for an Orbx competitor? If so, why is it here?

It's definitely my hometown airport. Took my first 172 flight there in 1958 (Del Monte Aviation). I want this one too!

"The "X" is not the logo, but just Orbx' forum's profile pic" Wolfgang says above. OK, but I still don't get it. If I go to Orbx Direct it has the "old" logo. If I start Orbx Central it has the "old" logo. Why did it change if it's not being used? I guess I'm just too old for this stuff.....Doug

I don't get it. If I Google "Orbx" it takes me to orbxdirect.com. I don't see a new logo anywhere on that page. And I agree with Braun, the new logo tells me nothing. How is it "carrying forward our history and origin". I must have missed something. Somebody's gotta explain it to me. Or, maybe it's just a case of Old Timers disease.

That happened to my neighbor also. But he was having a colonoscopy.

You know, it's really weird being the same age as old people.

We travel quite a bit with one particular couple. The lady just turned 70 and she is always telling me that getting old is just a state-of-mind. And I keep telling her I hope I live 10 more years so that on her 80th birthday I get to see her do a couple of deep-knee bends and then get to ask her about her state-of-mind.

I think John has this right. I have several hundred hours of RL flying around NoCal all the way from KMRY to the Oregon border. I agree that the scenery coloring is just plain wrong but, like John, I've been able to get a color rendering close to the real thing by adjusting the color values..........Doug

I, too, have scraped OC and gone back to FTXCentral. If that means going forward I won't be able to purchase any new OEBX products so be it. As my daddy told me when I was a little boy....life's too short to dance with an ugly woman..........Doug
