Hello Jack The PMDG aircraft are not listed in the Marketplace yet, so until they send it across it is still at PMDG. Your controls will work, it is just that you will have to set them up as we did in FSX and P3D, as it says to Create a custom scheme, there are many more options in MSFS. You will also need to go to the Marketplace on the Welcome screen, click on World at the top and you will see all the World updates which you will need to install. At the bottom is Content Manager this will also show any that are not installed, both should be checked after any World updates. Just take your time mate, and work through it steadily, there is a lot to get your head around, it took me quite a while to get the basics and I am nowhere near proficient yet. You will get there, slowly but surely, as they say Rome was not built in a day

Hello Jack At the start Heathrow was in the Premium version, plus a few extra aircraft, but the way it has gone since with Orbx and other developers I feel the Standard version would be adequate. I agree with Nick that you should read as much as you can, and base your decision on that.

Hello Jack I purchased the Premium version, from Microsoft Marketplace, but I should have purchased the Standard version, £50 difference, it is constantly changing with each update. There are multiple 3rd party developements on flightsim.to to enhance airports etc even further. It is available on DVD, on Amazon and other flightsim stores. It is still a work in progress.

Frantic with Installation Problems
Smudger replied to Tom Charles2's topic in Hardware and Tech Talk
Hello Tom, welcome back to the forums. You will have to create a folder on your F: drive at least for Orbx Objectflow, Orbx TerraFlora / Trees will also be placed there, they cannot go into the P3Dv5 folder. If you wish you can also create another folder on F: for Orbx Scenery so that it is installed outside of P3Dv5. I have all my Orbx Scenery installed into P3Dv5, except Orbx 3rd party scenery, which is installed into it's own folder / library. Each of these folders you create are classed as libraries, when you install any product through Orbx Central it will give you the choice to install into the sim or into a library. You will need to go to Orbx Central - Settings - Libraries and top right is Create a new library, use that to point to each of the folders you have created to create a new library. -
Happy birthday Jack, hoping you have a good day and your situations are all improving for the better

Happy birthday John, hoping it is a good one and the future gets better for you

Hello Don, check Orbx Central - Insertion Point for your scenery order, also this is a post that Nick has provided in the past that may help. Hello, it's a universal problem that has been with us for years. It is my belief that some of the stuttering is caused by things loading in the distance, both scenery objects and autogen. At present, P3D v4 and v5 have fade in autogen, something that was in FS9 and then was undone, but only at the Medium setting and I would recommend that one to all users. Nick
