  1. Hi all,

Last week I made the belated update to P3d V4.5 HF3 (client only, rest of install on HF2). Subsequently I have identified elevation issues at NZQN and just today NSFA.

Additionally when I load into either of these airports from the P3D start menu, my aircraft is displaced by some distance - in NZQN the aircraft spawns approx 100 metres forward of where it should, inside the terminal. At NSFA the aircraft spawns several hundred metres to the ENE, and there are taxi markings on the grass area where the aircraft spawns. i can load into other airport sceneries such as Flightbeam NZWN and Godzone NZCH & NZDN, and the aircraft is positioned correctly / no elevation issues are apparent.

I can't definitively say the HF3 update was the cause, but these issues have been discovered in the time since updating. There may be other aerodromes affected as well. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered these issues and if so what was the fix?

    Thanks in advance.

    Mark

  2. Hey folks, same issues here on v4.5 HF3. Sadly the above resolution (Insertion point) didn't work. Next, I have uninstalled NZQN and verified the NZSI files prior to reinstalling NZQN. I also have manually set the the NZSI NZQN BGL's  ".off".

This appears to have arisen due to the recent(ish) NZQN update, as I flew into NZQN within the past month or two and this was not an issue at that stage.

One thing I did notice in the Orbx/FTX-NZ/FTX_AA_NZQN folder was that the cvx bgl file has an odd naming convention compared with the other BGL files in that folder. Whereas most of the bgls are "ORBX_NZQN_<xxxx>.bgl, the cvx file is named '000_cvx_NZQN_airport.bgl'. Whether that's relevant I have no idea of course!

Any pointers anyone could offer would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
