How often do you buy a new printer? It's been probably 15 years since I bought my last printer. I have a Canon MX340 and it's been reliable with very few glitches. I think moving to a new house was the biggest issue and then trying to set up wifi instead of having it connected directly to my computer by cable. The ink is costly but it only takes color and black and white and for me it lasts almost a year.
