  1. Ok Marcus, thanks for the reply. I understand it's not a priority at the moment, but glad to hear it is still on the table. Thanks for clarifying
  2. Do you still plan to update Edinburgh to the current layout, at any point? Think I asked about this a while back and was told it would happen around the same time as the MSFS version was released, but obviously that was a while ago now.
  3. Seems to be working fine with SU5....only thing I've noticed it some of the boundary fencing is sort of staggered, Can't remember if it was like that before?
  4. Was so excited to read this announcement , but have to say I'm disappointed that it doesn't include improved photoscenery for the UK. I appreciate that's costly to make and you have your reasons, but was hoping for a MSFS version of my x-plane true earth sceneries. The MSFS photo scenery is so poor in many places with the bing mapping, and of course there is still no real water masking for the coastline or inland, islands are flat and the autogen is woefully wrong across so much of the UK. Will sit this one out, but hoping you are able to justify the work on integrating it into a 'true earth' package at a later date.
  5. Just run into one more issue - I have no illumination on the tower at night?
  6. Yeah, this lives up to or exceeds expectations - the detail is incredible, you have a serious talent for modelling! The nicest airport I've seen so far for MSFS, without a doubt. Couple of small requests for improvement though (and I know it's me moaning about trees again!)...could some excludes be added to get rid of incorrect trees within the airport perimeter? There are currently a bunch sitting inside both ILS antennas/approach lights, another one or two dotted around the grass at the 06 end, and a few near the fire trainer, none of which should be there. Most noticeably though, there is a full on forest running along the length of the Gogar burn, from the Archimedes screws, out past the end of the car park. They are really not noticeable IRL as the burn runs along a deep ditch and the trees are much smaller anyway so cant be seen. Right now the terminal buildings are covered by trees in that area, which looks really weird. It's the default MSFS placement, I know, and the mesh isn't detailed enough to show the ditch, but if an exclude could be easily added, it would add to the realism. One more thing, and I guess this is a SDK issue as every airport I have seen so far suffers....the runway/taxiway/apron lights are huge. You can barely see them during the day, but in MSFS they are big glowing orbs! Can anything be done here?
  7. That's awesome, will sort out some pictures for you tomorrow. Couple of decent videos on youtube showing the approach as well. You can see the trees I'm talking about from near the 24 threshold, running along the north side of the river up until just before the midway access road. All shorter trees and gorse bushes along the fence there as well. Rwy06 end isn't too badly represented by default. Thank you! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX5_e_hDUMU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5KsYyplAA0
  8. Ah this is shaping up to be pretty awesome! One small thing I'd like to suggest, although I appreciate it's minor - Just north of the 24 end of the runway, along the river almond there are a few hundred meters of really distinctive looking trees (some sort of Populus I believe). This probably comes from the fact I walk the airport boundary every day so notice silly stuff like this, but the default sim has the trees on the entire northern boundary quite wrong - huge broadleaf's rather than these Populus trees, gorse bushes and smaller trees which should be there. Don't know if you plan to do anything with the immediate surroundings, but thought I'd suggest it anyway, as the most detailed airport in the sim, still looks lacking if the surroundings are off. I changed stuff like this myself in x-plane version, but MSFS is far too alien to me!
  9. Yeah I feel the same way about virtual cabins in airliner too, but have come to accept I'm in the minority here!
  10. Don't really see the point of such highly detailed interiors, personally, but it looks very well done at least. Hoping the exteriors are modelled just as well and looking forward to release!
