  1. Yeah, you make my worst MSFS impulse purchase look decent.
  2. Being worked on in 2022 is not the same as being released in 2022. And Orbx is busy working on the Asobo New Zealand World Update update.
  3. I can't wait for the anger to erupt in certain forums over MSFT/Asobo using valuable developer time on this easter egg after they just gave us helicopters, gliders, classic aircraft, missions and a high-end A310 for free. And did I mention they've been giving us free aircraft, airports and scenery upgrades regularly since launch?
  4. "Ryzen 7 3800 liquid cooled 4.65 ghz, XFX RX6800, 16 gb vram, 2 tb M2 drive, 32 gb ram, Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard P3Dv5.2HF1" Your system more than meets the requirements for MSFS. There are now two KBOI for it. Don't expect much more to be produced for P3D. The world has moved on.
  5. Official support for them is coming... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_F20n8BwME
  6. I sure wish were entering the post-COVID era, instead of just starting it. Great shots though.
  7. Same here. I've had enough of Robert and company. And I'm too busy with the Boeing 247D at the moment anyway.
  8. When I saw the title for this post, I though "Great! Let's go see what they did to the interiors of the airport." I realize interiors aren't important to some who buy airports just as some either want or don't want static planes at the airports, but to release a version 2 of an MSFS airport in 2022 and not do anything to the interiors is... surprising. I can't mention other people's products here and I respect that. But I recently saw a YT video for another airport that once again raised the bar for what is possible, and I am not just referring to the interiors. I'm not familiar with KBUR because I haven't bought it. But if you told me the screen shots above were from version 1, I would have believed you. I am sure a lot of hard work went into making version 2 -- I'm not denying that and I the only comment I have about charging for the upgrade is that I understand the need. Matteo doesn't work for free and I wouldn't be unhappy to pay $8 US for a worthwhile upgrade to an airport I've previously purchased. But nothing in what I see above suggests that v2 of KBUR is at the same level as other similarly priced (KBUR v1 + the v2 upgrade together are the same price as the next level airport I am not mentioning by name) airports that are next level and state of the art. #disappointed
  9. The "who is purchasing new scenery" metric is more important. And every scenery maker who has developed for all three platforms report the same thing. It has nothing to do with cost, but rather opportunity cost. The (FS) world has moved on....
  10. Thanks for the link, I am sure that those who wish to watch the review will be able to find it.
  11. And yet you commented defensively anyway. The reviewer knows what she is talking about and has been reviewing planes on YT for over a year. I'll take her word for it.
  12. Glad you asked. Answer is: No. Any more questions? And stop calling a working release with a few minor issues "broken."
  13. Happy holidays ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls and non-binaries.
  14. Pyongyang!!!??? Cool! Now I have somewhere appropriate to fly my F-18!
  15. You'd prefer that they don't fix things nor add new features like free airports and buildings. Gotcha!
  16. If the static aircraft were contained in a folder called Orbx-airport-esgg-gothenburg-static, and if that was not present there would be no statics, would that allow someone who purchased in the MS Marketplace to manually remove that folder from their Community folder to achieve the same thing as Orbx Central allows?
  17. Whoa! What a mesh! I mean 20 gigabytes makes sense now! Is this the largest area Orbx has ever "covered" in one product?
  18. The MSFS aircraft and a few of the other MSFS non-scenery products have them, by the way.
  19. It's a bit unfortunate that Orbx is forcing you to use Discord to submit your entries when people have been submitting Orbx related photos right here for more than a decade. It's almost as if they want to funnel us away from their own forums. Since I'm over 21 years of age, I'm not interested in Discord and won't be participating, but happy Halloween to those who celebrate it. And get ready, Orbx, for more demands for technical support via Discord.
  20. I will not purchase an airport without such things from now on. No way. Touches like this show that the dev isn't just importing FSX models into MSFS and making a Thursday Cashgrabâ„¢ release. I just saw a video on Youtube of a forthcoming airport in city I never considered flying to that I'll buy because they have actual animated (not static) people walking around the airport as well as in the terminal. The bar has moved. And the audience has changed and gotten younger. Dead airports ruin the immersion.
