  1. Just a few from W1G Gabriel's Farm, near Arlington, Washington NW USA. Orbx KAWO Arlington Area and True Earth Washington USA
  2. I have a Golden Retriever - pretty close. A beautiful puppy. The first couple of years were the worst. He would destroy everything! Couldn't buy him toys as he would destroy an 'indestrucible' one within a few hours. I did think of renting him out as a toy tester. Seven now - doesn't eat the walls, carpets etc anymore. But he will sometimes tear a large branch from a big shrub in the garden. Tried everything, including dog trainers. The best solution (apart from him getting older) was plenty of exercise and attention. Also training - sit, stay, walk away, count to thirty before calling him. Seems to keep his attention on me rather than the furniture!

  11. Thank you Martyn. The Cirrus is nice to fly, and I do like having a glass cockpit as a change from flying a Spitfire etc. Currently I am trying to populate Washington with as many airports as I can!
  12. This time in Arlington, State of Washington, NW USA. The city lies on the Stillaguamish River in the western foothills of the Cascade Range. The airport dates back to 1934. The airfield was one of four similar stations located in Northwestern Washington developed by the Navy in 1942 to 1943 primarily for the operational training of fleet carrier squadrons. When the war ended in 1945 the need for the airport diminished rapidly. The airport was placed on caretaker status on December 1, 1945 and then on inactive status on July 1, 1946. The City of Arlington was granted use of the airport under an interim use permit on December 19, 1946 and was later deeded the property on February 25, 1959. Currently, the airport is host to several businesses making significant contributions to the aviation industry. Every year in July the airport is host to one of the northwest's largest fly-ins. The airport is home to corporate, vintage aircraft, piston aircraft, helicopters, gliders, and ultralights. Orbx KAWO Arlington Area and True Earth Washington USA. XP 11.55

  18. Thank you. If you head south and stay by the coastline then you will soon find it
  19. This late afternoon flight is from Anacortes Airport in the State of Washington, NW USA. "Anacortes" is an adaptation of the name of Anne Curtis Bowman, who was the wife of early Fidalgo Island settler Amos Bowman. The airport is situated on Fidalgo Island. The island is named after the Spanish explorer and cartographer Salvador Fidalgo, who explored the area in 1790. To the south, the island is separated from Whidbey Island by Deception Pass. The Deception Pass bridge was built in 1935. Orbx 74S Anacortes Island and True Earth Washington USA. XP 11.55
