  1. @Jon Clarke @Nick Cooper Please see attached, I do see an error in this file, I do run X-PLANE as ROOT via SUDO and Orbx as my standard Users. 2020-05-04T11:23:43.262Z [ERROR] [Main] - Error: Error: EACCES: permission denied, unlink '/opt/Orbx-central-4.1.1.AppImage' at unlinkSync (fs.js:1035:3) at AppImageUpdater.doInstall (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/node_modules/electron-updater/out/AppImageUpdater.js:146:24) at AppImageUpdater.install (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/node_modules/electron-updater/out/BaseUpdater.js:71:19) at AppImageUpdater.quitAndInstall (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/node_modules/electron-updater/out/BaseUpdater.js:28:30) at UpdateManager.quitAndInstall (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/main/services/update-manager/update-manager.js:63:47) at SafeSubscriber._next (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/main/components/splash-screen/splash-screen.js:98:41) at SafeSubscriber.__tryOrUnsub (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/node_modules/rxjs/internal/Subscriber.js:205:16) at SafeSubscriber.next (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/node_modules/rxjs/internal/Subscriber.js:143:22) at Subscriber._next (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/node_modules/rxjs/internal/Subscriber.js:89:26) at Subscriber.next (/tmp/.mount_orbx-cT7R9Cb/resources/app.asar/node_modules/rxjs/internal/Subscriber.js:66:18) 2020-05-04T11:23:43.262Z [ERROR] [Main] - [Main::Splash] Error occured while checking for updates. Thank You! central.log
  2. @Jon Clarke Thank You for your reply, my download folder is also on my external drive, please see screenshot attached, Linux doesn't have a concept of a c: instead that would be / or "root". My external drive is pretty speedy as I run X-Plan off it with no issue. there is plenty of space on this external drive as I pointed out earlier "/dev/sda1 932G 422G 510G 46% /mnt/external" over 400gig. I can probably say it wasn't that way in the begining, but since i uninstalled, re-downloaded the Florida Scenery, then reinstalled is how I ended up with the validated Florida Scenery. The only item existing on my root /opt drive is "Orbx-central-4.1.1.AppImage" which where the Orbx executable exists. Thank You!
  3. @Jon Clarke I running Ubuntu Linux and have X-Plan4 11 and Orbx Library Install on an External Drive the Orbx Image is install on my primary drive in /opt. I had a disk issue on my first install which I resolved by uninstall then reinstalling the Region, changing the disk type from Fat32 to NFTS. I now have a been able to fully validate (Attached Screenshot) the files and receive the following in X-PLANE log. I have 422 gig of space available on the external drive "/dev/sda1 932G 422G 510G 46% /mnt/external" 0:00:36.071 E/SCN: Failed to find resource 'terrain/d540x8d30x17SM.ter', referenced from scenery package 'Custom Scenery/Orbx_C_US_Florida_TE_Orthos/'. 0:00:36.071 E/SCN: Custom Scenery/Orbx_C_US_Florida_TE_Orthos/Earth nav data/+20-090/+28-081.dsf: 0:00:36.071 E/SCN: The terrain file 'terrain/d540x8d30x17SM.ter' could not be located. 0:00:36.071 E/SCN: DSF canceled due to missing art assets, file=Custom Scenery/Orbx_C_US_Florida_TE_Orthos/Earth nav data/+20-090/+28-081.dsf, err=15 (dsf_ErrCanceled).
