Regarding USB, you also have the option of PCI USB cards and some come with additional internal headers.

@B12 I’ve read that new AMD AGESA ComboV2 1.0.8.1 that supports new 5000 series CPUs isn’t best companion with 2000 series CPUs. U might encounter stability issues, whea errors etc. You can try run this setup, but after You install new 5900x I would do clean install of W10.
This shouldn’t be necessary to do a clean install with the new cpu. I would recommend however just leaving the mobo bios as is for now and only update to the latest just prior to installing the new cpu.

Yes, you can install W10 now and just swap over the cpu when you get it.

From everything I’ve read, 3600mhz is still expected to be the RAM sweet spot for Zen 3. I’ve been running an MSI x570 mobo and it’s been rock solid so will be sticking with that but likely to upgrade the cpu for a new model but I may hold off and get one of the new GPUs first and see how things go as I’m currently GPU bound with my RTX 2070 in MSFS 2020.

Orbx has to focus on area that really need work like ASIAN areas in Japan and Korea with has good data and that don't look good in MSFS! All these US and Europe airpots wont sell well in MSFS because the stock ones are so good already.
Got to disagree. The stock ones are good but rarely reflect the real life airport which is something Orbx are excellent at.

I keep watching the Coming Soon area on Orbxdirect hoping to see Edinburgh pop up there.

Keen on them all, but would also love a new addition in the form of Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport LTAZ. Would be beautiful to see the hot-air balloons souring above Göreme.
I wouldn't like to be directly beneath them then!

Yes, I spoke with MS support and any in game purchases are tied to your account. Provided you run the new purchase with the same account, all your in game purchases will remain.

2 x 16GB seems the way to go for a number of reasons - there are potential minor gains going with quad channel but it seems less so in gaming. If you get 2 x 16gb, you have the option of upping to 64gb in total down the line if you ever feel held back.

Definitely the existing Scottish airports, I would love Edinburgh with the city POIs such as bridges, castle, stadiums etc. In fact I would love to see TEGB North POI pack like has been done for London Cityscape.

The main issue I have with the offers is they need to be purchased through Orbx Direct to validate current ownership. I realise there could be a number of reasons for this but the current lack of knowledge if these will translate to an Xbox version will have me holding off. Not knocking Orbx for this, genuinely grateful for the discounts for existing customers but if you would need to purchase again via the MS Marketplace to get them in the Xbox version (if supported) means you would be worse off.
-
I haven’t seen it mentioned so wanted to confirm that season weather such as snow will be supported in these add ons by default?

Just in the discount offer (and apologies if this has already been answered, but I couldn’t see it) - is the 40% reduction applicable if you own any Orbx product, or do you only get 40% off if you own the non-msfs version of the specific product you’re buying?
The latter. -
A question if Orbx or anyone else can comment. Are we better buying through Orbx Central or the Marketplace and would both be in sync? I’m asking because I’m assuming Orbx Central won’t be an option on the Xbox when it arrives but hoping all third party addons available via marketplace will be available for Xbox too. Does anyone know?

Fantastic news. Please don’t forget Edinburgh, Sumburgh & Dundee!

Do you need images or are you okay? I saw a couple of locations around Jon's sceenshot where buildings are floating - I'm assuming as a result of the recent TE update in preparation for Dundee airport? I also noticed there is an obvious seam in the same area and as a result some buildings collide with each other.
-
Yup, I don't have Dundee bought yet, this is purely the TE scenery. I'll check this evening after work and provide screenshots of other buildings - I think they were different from the one Jon showed.
-
Hi Jon, I think it was a little further East, I’ll grab a shot today and attach.

TE GB North. Floating buildings at Dundee. Visible on right hand side on final to airport on eastern approach.

I’m going to be keeping a very close eye on the AMD GPU keynote this week. I think there is a very real chance I could be switching to AMD for graphics this year depending on price and availability. I was all set for the RTX3080 but the 10gb limit gave me doubts and of course you can’t buy one just now anywhere.
