  1. There were these two elderly people living in a Florida mobile home park. He was a widower and she a widow. They had known each other for a number of years. Now, one evening there was a community supper in the big activity center. These two were at the same table, across from one another. As the meal went on, he made a few admiring glances at her and finally gathered up his courage to ask her, "Will you marry me?" After a dramatic pause and precisely six seconds of 'careful consideration,' she answered. "Yes. Yes, I will." The meal ended and with a few more pleasant exchanges and they went to their respective places. Next morning, he was troubled. "Did she say 'yes' or did she say 'no'?" He couldn't remember. Try as he would, he just could not recall. Not even a faint memory. With trepidation, he went to the telephone and called her. First, he explained to her that he didn't remember as well as he used to. Then he reviewed the lovely evening past. As he gained a little more courage, he then inquired of her, "When I asked if you would marry me, did you say 'Yes' or did you say 'No'?" He was delighted to hear her say, "Why, I said, 'Yes, yes I will' and I meant it with all my heart." Then she continued, "And I am so glad that you called, because I couldn't remember who had asked me."

  2. I’m overwhelmed and also speechless, did not expect so many comments here but I’m glad I was wrong! And even those who don’t fly in MSFS take part in this conversation which is absolutely bonkers. I’ll keep this short, but for now let’s focus mostly on Western/Central Europe with some exceptions (Good satellite coverage, mid sized airports). I’d love to make some of the airports you guys have suggested, such as those in the Middle East, but satellite imagery in those regions is often 5-10m per pixel which is really low and impossible to work with. Heathrow was mentioned a few times, but this airport is a bit too big for my preference, I don’t want to burn out and loose interest for flight simming in the middle of the development process

  3. Changed to EGNX. Out of all suggestions seems to be a good option. A lot of the other airports that have been suggested are WIP/Duplicates. I understand that some versions don’t do justice but it has to be really bad/converted from other sim to be worth re-doing. It's NOT final, I'm open for all suggestions.

  4. Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl "Will you marry me?" The girl said NO". And the guy lived happily ever after and went fishing, hunting and played golf a lot and drank beer and farted whenever he wanted. (This wonderful fairy tale was plagiarized by mefrom a very smart and nice guy) Oh, oh my wife is calling. Sorry gotta go before she reads this. Cheers Karl.

  5. Continuing the outbound flight we had to bring the DC-3 back from Emo Mission. It is quite the challenge to bring such a (relatively) big bird into the air on a short runway without overheating the engines. And the narrow valley does not make it easier! [The famous little paper bags have been distributed before takeoff by our lovely cabin crew...] But we made it. And could follow Emo River back westwards to the plainland... ... and back to Kokoda. Ahh, safe. Time for a hot (or cold?) drink.

  6. Sometimes the remote villages in Papua New Guinea urgently require supplies. And not always fancy, modern transport vehicles are available. So we had to take one of Air Niugini´s experienced planes. I could read the fear in the passengers faces. If they only knew my own doubts... Well, it was easy to start at Kokoda and follow the road to Girua. It got interesting when we turned right towards the valley... ... of Emo River. You can see flaps and wheels were already extended in order to reduce speed... ... and still we missed the waterfall slightly, ... ... which brought us a bit offset to the runway of Emo Mission. But since we were slow enough it worked. And we could deliver the requested stuff into the freight hall.

  7. Oof, I have to rest for a while. I did a flight in MSFS in de Kodiak from Val Thorens to Meribel, let the engine run, took off to Courchevel and back to Val Thorens right away. Just short hops but man, what a work needs to be done to get the plane in and out of the air. I'm exhausted. Simming is like sports.

  11. My first screenshots-posting of this new year is, in analogue to my earlier posting of Glasgow airport, the equal fine modelled airport of Edinburgh-EGPH by Orbx-partner Pyreegue.Dev.Co. and I was surprised by the large area with a multitude of gorgeous representation of the reality. Enjoy my tour via follow 25 shots: I leave this marvel with a heli to my next airport to visit, hereby my congrats to the team of Pyreegue.Dev.Co. for their airport-scenery achievements.

  12. Looking SO good, I've purchased your Glasgow and Edinburgh and absolutely loving every single minute of it! If we can get EGPK (Prestwick) I would be ecstatic as I live locally to this airport! And I think many would love this addition as it serves as an important freighter hub. One to add to your suggestions list Thank you so much for everything!

  19. As EasternT3 said, we badly need a Heathrow. Like many think, the EGLL made by MSFS is not good, and myself like many, we bought the standard MSFS as we knew the "extra" airports were not going to be well done anyways. Many thanks for your work!

  20. Another vote here for ‘East Mids’ EGNX…it is a great ‘do it all airport’ Also would love to see Prestwick…some awesome views to be had on the approach there… Loving your airports, great quality & immersion.

  22. Yes! I know it's a while off but it would be amazing if you could include the business park on the site with all the hotels and maybe a lightly detailed Donington Circuit off the end of 09? I've spent many a night in those hotels staying for an early flight or a day to Donington

  23. Yes, you need to buy them again but you do get a discount from Orbx if you own a product for another platform. It’s still worth the jump in my humble opinion…

  24. The Orbx made LKPR seems to be very close, the official trailer was released just before Christmas and there's another being previewed of the Aerosoft forum I know EGPE has been done but I wasn't aware EGPD or EGAA have? I thought this would be the case, unfortunately even though MSFS has opened the world with it's scenery it hasn't stopped issues of older sims where we're unlikely to get airports in Africa/Asia/South America due to poor satellite imagery and inadequate photography. A few people have asked for airports that have been made already/in progress, imho, I would prefer airports that haven't been touched yet, as Carlos said, even in MSFS we have some airports with already multiple iterations where some big flight sim airports have been neglected, for example EIDW and EFHK have been mentioned but the current versions on Orbx are adequate and imo don't justify the need for a second version, A few suggestions for the area you mention but outside the UK, Oslo, Bergen, Lyon, Valencia, Malaga, Hamburg, Venice, Menorca (unsure if any of these are wip/done)

  25. Absolutely love your work @pyreegue! That roadmap is looking really exciting, Belfast and Aberdeen are great picks! There are lot of smaller airport's in Scotland, such as Stornoway Airport, that would be great, but might be too small ones for you. While there is a Dublin airport already, it's not so good, so would love to see a worthy version!

  26. So I was flying back from Venice to EDDK, by Aerosoft (via Orbx central)....fist shot shows airport off to the side, we went out and around, 2nd shows last few seconds arriving before the sim crashed, (angry face), last shot was me reloaded and parked....I use a program called A Pilots Life for my flights, but if you get a CTD like I had you have to fly it again, luckily it was only a short flight..... hopefully next time I can get closer without a ctd for some better shots...

  27. I was not aware of this, thank you I had their version for P3D, I was satisfied Though I just realized it is ony available in the market place and I don't like that at all, thank you very much though

  30. I'm another in the East Midlands camp. There's also lots of potential to add character with things in the surrounding area such as Ratcliffe Power Station, Breedon on the Hill, Donnington Race Track, the Aeropark etc. And although in reality it is relatively close to all of Leicester, Derby and Nottingham, it isn't close enough for performance to be impacted too badly.

  31. A good looking payware ENGM would be nice to have! Or a better version of my home airport ESSA

  32. If you prefer to focus on middle sized airports, I can have a new little list of suggestions : - GCXO, Teneriffe North airport. (We already have a good rendition of the airport of this isle located in the South, but the North one need your kind of attention, and thanks to his amazing (and a bit scary) approach, it's a must have ! - ELLX, Luxembourg Airport. (Even if it had already been done by JustSim, their version is bugged, and also... bad quality) - EDLW, Dortmund Airport - EDDW, Bremen Airport Anyway, whatever you'll work on, I know all of us and your customers will be happy about it, so developp what you're happy to ! LFTM is in developpment by SceneryTR, the on which made LTAC, so I think it will be good

  33. @pyreegueAlthough I don't own any payware airports for MSFS yet (bugs like the 285°C temp bug or disappearing RWY and TWY lights when arriving at night make it absolutely unflyable atm) I'm always super excited when there's news from you! I've never bought any UK2000 airports for P3D back then, because there was still a bit of room for improvement imho, so I'm very happy for any UK airport you want to recreate in MSFS and I guess a lot of those who already own a UK2000 airport are willing to upgrade to your version too! Regarding EGLL Heathrow: I personally prefer two mid size airports in the time you'd need to make one Heathrow addon. If you need a challenge, go for EGLL, you are among the few devs who can create a very accurate Heathrow version but again: I think your talent is better spent on airports like you've done in the past. Picking up suggestions from @BAW9DV and @carlosqr: LKPR Praha, VRMM Male, LHBP Budapest (LH Sim version is quite good, so, not a good choice), LYBE Belgrade, LROP Bucarest and LBSF Sofia would be really nice and I'd buy them right away (if MSFS was finally free of major bugs that make your aircraft stuck in the air like it was jelly). In addition to those good recommendations, I'd LOVE to have a top notch rendition of EFHK Helsinki and the three baltic capitals EETN Tallin, EVRA Riga, EYVI Vilnius. Heading further south and east: HAAB Addis Ababa, LLBG Tel Aviv, UGTB Tiblisi, UDYZ Yerevan, airports in central asian states (if you really want to go off the beaten track) like Türkmenistan, Uzbekistan or Kirgiztan and finally airports in Iran. Most of those airports are perfectly in range for an A320 or A310-300 from Europe, Dubai, India and China. Anything you'll touch next will be on my shortlist but the only thing that's a no-go for me: If any given airport has got a RWY shorter than 1800-1900m, 'cause I need some TODA to get from your next airport back to Europe or Dubai within a couple hours without clipping the approach lights on the end of the RWY. Cheers!

  34. And here we are somewhere over Arizona eastbound to Tampa after leaving Las Vegas. This flight is the second leg of our round the world tour. From Tampa we go down to Martinique then over to Europe.

  35. Thank you so much for this approach, it is important for us the customers to be taken into account and to make us feel part of all involved I personaly would like off the beaten track airports or not often developed by others, some exist even up to three times! As the gorgeous ones you did for Ukraine I believe East Europe and middle east are quite abandoned It would be nice to have good quality of airports such as Budapest- LHBP Belgrade -LYBE Bucarest -LROP Sofia- LBSF Istambul - LTFM Yidda- OEJN (current one is not so good) Airports in India would be nice too such as VIDP, VOHS ,VOBL. Some freeeware save the day but the quality desired is not the one reflected Also VABB would be nice to match Orbx landmarks Bangkok -VTBS and Kuala Lumpur WMKK in your great quality would be fantastic too I think Cork and Shannon would be lovely for Ireland too apart from Belfat, the island seems to have been inclued in the same bag as Latin America Speaking of Latin America, good chances would be MMMX SVMI SBBR SAEZ If you ever consider the area. I do trust that anything you do will be a great product. Thanks Carlos

  36. Like EGKK above there's already a does the job LEBL, imo it'd be better to see airports that haven't been done yet rather than 2/3 versions of the same one

  38. Love it! Two airports that have been slighty underrepresented in the past. I'd buy anything if you are wanting to stay in the UK. East Mids, Doncaster, Norwich, Exeter, Jersey/Guernsey and a bit smaller but still great (and close to me) Humberside and Isle of Man. If size isn't an issue, MSFS needs a high quality Heathrow, If you aren't committed to the UK, then I have enough suggestions to keep you in business for decades

  41. And , just quietly, a lot of the MSFS scenery and airports are of a reasonable standard out of the box so you might find you can be more selective in the ones you have to have

  44. Not buying Airports with static. The ignorance of many devs makes my wallet close. Just put a static.bgl in that I can delete. I dont need any other option. But beeing forced with stupid static AC even though I either fly with VATSIM or AIG makes such an airport completely useless
