  1. We are excited to announce the next project from Finn Hansen: Molde Airport, located in the charming fjord city of Molde, Norway. Following on from Finn's previous Norwegian airports of ENHF Hammerfest, ENNO Notodden, ENAL Alesund and ENTO Sandefjord, Molde is another stunning location which is famed for beautiful views, jazz music and roses, despite the climate. Detailed modelling and high-def PBR textures make this airport a must-have. Finn and the Orbx team also have improved the area with 40sqkm of 50cm ortho to remove the imperfections seen in the current default imagery. Combining all that with custom GSE and real-world liveries on GA statics, Molde Airport will be a fab addition to your Norwegian collection! The airport itself is situated right on the shore of the Moldefjord and the runway is only 3m above sea-level so in times of high seas and tides the water creeps onto the runway edges. The airport is perfectly located for short flights to Trondheim, Sandane and Sogndal or take in some of the regular flights to Bergen, Oslo and Gdansk. At a glance: Detailed depiction of Molde Airport, Norway Complete with PBR textures Crisp photoreal Custom GSE Interior modelling of terminal GA statics matching real-world liveries Selection of POI buildings outside perimeter fence Ground work by Jakub Łukaszewski

  6. We are happy to have on Orbx Central this free collection of lighthouses for Microsoft Flight Simulator created by AlroCreation. Alain has been developing since FS9 days and is enjoying the new possibilities in Microsoft Flight Simulator, especially now with the helicopter mods available. His content has been on the very popular flightsim.to website but he thought it would be great on Orbx Central too. And we agreed! Currently the pack includes the following (you can search for these locations in the map view of MSFS): Bishop Rock Lighthouse Eddystone Lighthouse Fastnet Rock Lighthouse Goodwin Vessel Lighthouse Needles Lighthouse Royal Sovereign Lighthouse Garoupe Lighthouse (French Riviera) Frying Pan Tower Pic du Midi de Bigorre Astronomical Observatory As more locations get added we will update here too. There are also some additional library files that round out the scenery with people, animals and clutter objects which are only available on the flightsim.to website. Details are on the product page. Hope you enjoy the scenery!

  7. Utter nonsense…. I asked if any Throwback airports would be coming along because I want to enjoy as much of the Orbx catalog in MSFS as possible. I didn’t ask for free or cheap, I’m interested in Orbx releases for MSFS and if the Throwbacks are a way to get more of them then I’m good with that. No complaints here except for having to read your baffle. Perhaps part of the reason why “this whole d**n website is getting harder and harder to want to visit anymore”.

  15. A couple of customers have reported issues with autogen colliding with some default airports. I've updated the airports here to include the correct exclusions and attached here. Please download, extract the folder and drop this in to you Custom Scenery folder, overwriting the folder already there. This fixes these airports: LEAL LEBA LEMO LEOC LEMX LEMG Please report any others you find here, and we'll get these patched to Orbx Central and also submitted to Laminar Research. 17. Just a feedback to Orbx. A good product very much appreciated on my end. It does significantly enhance flying in this region which has become new bush territories. A winning combo with the Milviz Porter. If you could have now a look at the Andes...

  19. I really can't see any complainers in this thread, nor anyone asking for cheap or free products, just people asking if about more airports under this branding. I don't get your negativity.

  20. Please remember when posting a screenshot here it must show some Orbx or partner scenery that is available through Orbx Direct, And that can be identified as such Again shots are appearing showing none of these in them. cheers Iain

  36. Since I had a mixture of in-p3d and Orbx Central (some partner add-ons allow only Orbx Central) I migrated all p3d Orbx scenery to Orbx Central and used Nick's method 1b. Success!

  37. On the left is KMFR. On the far right is Roxy Ann, an extinct volcano with an excellent winery on its slopes. Just to the left of Roxy Ann and off in the distance in Mt. McLaughlin, another old volcano. The date in the sim is 10-31-21 which displays the fall colors from Orbx TerraFlora. This shot is with Enhanced Atmospherics enabled. Flight sim has come a long way.

  44. I'm sure for many this little gripe of mine will have gone unnoticed, or perhaps disregarded, but for others who share my observation, I can say I find it extremely irritating. I'm talking about devs who release a video of their new airport, which may be a great video, but the producer has used an overly used technique of using a shallow depth of field on many of the shots. This seems to be very fashionable, but from my perspective I find it very distracting. I don't know what others feel, but I want to see the airport in all it's glory, I don't want to see aspects which are clearly out of focus, I want to view the surrounding scenery and all the details such as the cars, the signs and things. Call me pedantic (it wouldn't be the first time ) but this technique IMO is not needed and seems to fulfil the desires of the video maker rather than the scenery developer.

  45. But at least you can fly the airplane as opposed as just looking at the eye-candy. Besides the eye-candy what else does MSFS offer?

  48. If you mean "constructive criticism", and I'm sure you do, then I'm glad they took it on board. Low-effort releases from Orbx cheapens the brand.
